10 Best Purchases I Made Last Year 💲| Minimalism
Same! One of 8, grand baby number 16 due in January. It’s the best ✨
Awe same! I am # 4. We have 11 grands as of now, but we still have 4 unmarried so I’m sure that will go up soon 😅.
HELP THAT TOO MANY 😭😭 HOW DO YOU DEAL WITH ALL OF THEM
Haha not well 😂 better today.
25
Yes, 25 stockings!
26
Dayum!!!😂😂
Right 😂
My daughter also did really well with elemental phonics. We are going through the booster cards of G&B Level K and pairing it with our Logic of English. :) I like mixing and matching different things from various curriculum.
I love that! Mixing is my favorite! I don't think one curriculum ever hits our wants entirely, unfortunately.
you are speaking so much truth.
Thank you
I don't have kids but what you said about accommodating their childhood struck me❤
I am glad to hear it! Thanks for watching!
Yes, girl! I’ve always struggled in the winter and last year I really focused on slowling down and cozy-ing in during the cold months and “hibernating” and it was the first winter I haven’t struggled with SAD. I left twinkle lights up and our winter decor up until February and created as much of a hygge vibe as I could with little kids running wild.
Honestly, lifestyle and mindset changes really make a huge difference. So glad you have felt the same. Thank you for watching and commenting!
Also Magnatiles are an amazing investment, you won’t regret it! We have 2 sets and are expanding at Christmas. You can build villages for little figures, ramps, barns for animal figures, rockets, towers, even chairs for toys to sit on! The list really goes on and on. Such a good purchase and very open ended ❤
Yes, we love Magnatiles!!
4:34 I don’t live in the USA but the United Kingdom and we have a forest like this near our home! It’s so pretty, especially in autumn and spring ❤
That is amazing! We live in a very foresty state in the US, and hikes are our favorite!
Such a great idea! Love growing with the season
Wow! Can you make a more step by step action guide? Season guide I guess, a more in depth look at seasons and how to live with them.
Would love too! Every persons lives are going to look different in every season, but we must be intentional to slow down and truly look at the season and what it may hold.
I love seasonal rhythms. I crave the next season when it happens and I am completely done with the last one as it goes.
@@SuGilstrap Beautifully stated!
Love this so much! The editing was beautiful.
Thank you so much!!
Thank you for watching! Don't forget to comment your favorite thing to declutter and or the spot you most dread decluttering.
Oooh love that Jewelry!!

Great, inspiring video!❤
Thanks so much!
Thank for another inspiring video. Love the earrings!
You are so welcome! Glad you like them.
Great video!
Thanks!
I need to get my butt in gear and do this!! Keep encouraging me please!

@@OurMessyHouse Honestly, Lazyness :p

50 advantages of going barefoot: 1. You feel the ground much better than with any kind of footwear. 2. It’s more comfortable to be barefoot than in any imaginable sort of shoes. 3. Going barefoot is really easy, everyone can do it. 4. Barefooting becomes easier and more fun, the more you do it. 5. You can climb up trees, rocks, ropes and poles much better. 6. You can run faster when you’re barefoot. 7. Bare feet give you an advantage in a lot of sports. 8. You can balance much better when you’re barefoot. 9. You don’t get sweaty, smelly feet. 10. You don’t get fungus / athlete’s foot. 11. You can spread and wiggle your toes. 12. You don’t get blisters. 13. You don’t get ingrown nails. 14. Your circulation is stimulated, so you don’t get cold feet. 15. Your skin gets tougher, which protects against injury. 16. Your immune system gets stronger. 17. Walking without extra weight on your feet is less exhausting. 18. Bare feet can touch you gently. Shoes can only kick. 19. Getting your feet massaged feels wonderful. 20. When you’re barefoot, every step is like dancing. 21. Your foot and leg muscles will get a lot stronger. 22. You get a constant massage of your reflex zones. 23. You learn better awareness of your surroundings. 24. Fresh snow is cold, but so soft, clean and wonderful like licking ice cream with your toes. 25. You can walk quietly, which has many advantages. 26. Feet are much easier to clean than shoes. 27. You don’t need to buy, maintain, clean your shoes and find a place to put them. 28. You won’t get a rock in your shoe. 29. Your shoelaces can’t go open. 30. You don’t need to buy, clean and sort your socks. 31. Your shoes won’t break, get lost or stolen if you don’t have any. 32. Wet feet are no problem, wet shoes are unpleasant. 35. When you’re barefoot, mud and water on the ground isn’t an obstacle, it’s a welcome refreshment. 36. Bare feet get better and tougher with use. Shoes just wear out. 37. Feet don’t track as much dirt in when you come in from outside. 38. No delay to find your shoes and put them out when you go out of the house. 39. Sun tanned feet look better than when they are all pale or have “sandal stripes” And here are a few that are especially important for young children (and their parents): 45. Babies learn to walk much better if they do it barefoot. 46. Bare feet always fit perfectly. Shoes don’t and children grow out of them. 47. Your toes can grow into a natural shape and aren’t squished together. 48. You can play in sand without getting it in your shoes. 49. Barefoot kids are more motivated to go out and move their body. 50. You don’t need to keep track of your shoe size when you’re constantly barefoot.
Thanks!!
Love all the ideas.
Thanks so much!
So Much great info. Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
It would help if you did a building a minimal wardrobe from scratch.
That is a great idea!
This is a great idea!
Love this!
yay! Thank you.
Loved this, really inspired me to get my bedroom more simplified! What is the drawer system you have in your closet?
Thank you so much! I am glad it inspired you! Ikea Boaxel. I designed it with the individual pieces. we are ordering more baskets so we can also put my husband's clothes in the closet. 10/10 recommend.
@@OurMessyHouse you’re welcome! I love that, I’ll have to look into a system like that. We got rid of our dresser and everything is in our small closet but I think some drawers would be helpful.
@@stephanienoble2926 the drawers are a game changer! Good luck.
@@stephanienoble2926 I thought I would like to hang everything and quickly realized that drawers were not something I could go without.
Fantastic content Julianna! Always a wonderful relieving feeling to let go of unnecessary ballast and things. So motivating! 🥰❤️🌞💖🌻
Always a great feeling. Thank you!
Great video. So many benefits by touching the earth. ❤
Love the idea of putting it in a bin to see if you really need it!
Thank you! Tried and true method 😅
Great video!❤
Thank you!!
I needed this!!!!!!!! Thank you! Your makeup looks great by the way!
Thank you! I am so glad it could help someone.
also, what do you do with makeup, hairspray, gel and all the other bathroom items?
I have a small travel bag of makeup in my room drawers. We do not keep those other items you listed.
Can you tell me what you do with shoes?
Great question! We have one shoe bin by our back door. we each have 2 pairs of barefoot shoes.
My house needs this!! Thank you for breaking it down by room and what you actually have.
Your welcome!
Women who wear socks or nylons end up getting cancer or other weird things including heart attacks because of blood clots that start in the left leg.
Interesting, I have never heard of this.
@@OurMessyHouse A cardiologist told me this 15 years ago.
@@dimitriberozny3729 interesting.
@@OurMessyHouse There was a documentary on TH-cam toward the beginning of the summer about DuPont and how nylon like the nylon in pantyhose and stockings had a lot to do with the spike in cervical and breast cancer since the late 1930’s.
Loved this new subscriber and also going more minimalist. Feels so good for my mind to have less to manage.
Thanks for subscribing! I hope to have the next two videos of this series out this week. becoming more minimal literally has changed the game for us! I did not realize how much stuff I had to manage until the stress of managing it was gone.
@@OurMessyHouse ugh! It’s such a freeing feeling. I’m posting shorts videos on this topic too! Trying to keep myself motivated. I’m on day twelve today and I’ve done so much!!! Can’t wait to watch more of your videos :)
@@LifeasBekah I will go check your videos out! You got this!!
@@LifeasBekah Best of luck on the new baby as well!
Your thoughts regarding screens sound like your reading my mind. We only have one tv in the living room but I too feel like getting rid of everything woukd be easier than managing it. I think to strike balance I'd like a tv that could be put away during the week and only taken out for movie night. The tv itself is a constant reminder.
Thank you! It is so hard though to have the screens around and not revert back to them. This week we have been building a fence, this has caused my kids to have to be outside from around noon until bedtime... absolute game changer! I need to figure out how to do this in the cold months. You got this! Such a learning process for any household.
I do my kids clothes the exact same way ❤ From one minimalist to another, consider getting rid of all the books! We almost exclusively get books from the library. We go once or twice a week and check new books out. Then we never need to declutter/clean up books again. They have endless new books and read a lot more!
That is a great idea! Thank you.
I love how regular you go to the library!

Is the science series books Christian, I see ghosts on the book also they have one on a werewolf?
The science solves it I believe is secular. The Ghost one we have is about kids hearing a noise, thinking spooky things, and solving the Mistry by realizing something is making noise in the house. the kids have to build their own noise maker at the end. The jelly bean log one is super fun! Teaches survey taking by using a jelly bean pole in the family. If you are Christian and looking for Christian beliefs on science, these books don't hit on the topics that would be one way or another. I have no clue about the werewolf one. I only purchase ones I am comfortable using!
How many outfits does each member have? can you do a closet look through please!!
I plan to do all of this very soon! Thank you
