Whats american jiu jitsu?
Look, recently the United Nations took down the Geneva convention from their website on line. The rules of armed conflict, and the definition of crimes against humanity, plus the list of war criminal perpetrations has been taken off line!!!! Put it back up.
Jek the Snek
Right after I got heel hooked
been there bro
He wrestled at a high level BEFORE high school? 😂
.....this looks....different
All he had to do was just go to your gym and sign up for classes. He didn’t need to have an attitude like that.
100%. Would’ve been welcomed with open arms
“High level wrestling” before high school hahahahahahhahahahah I was a fucking hammer in 5th grade stopped in 8th grade now I’m 25 looking to snap necks and cash checks
This was very wholesome.
That dude is a genius. Nice frame
This is gay as fuck
Do you kiss your wife’s boyfriend with that mouth
Wrestling is in my opinion a lot better than Jiu Jitsu. BJJ school are mostly very lazy and laid-back, whilst wrestling team are pushed like theres no tomorrow, for seemingly no reason. That builds mindset. Of course pure BJJ would win in a fight with pure wrestler. But if we're talk about learning, a wrestler would learn BJJ way faster than BJJ practician learn wrestling. That's why modern MMA ruled by wrestler. I guess my point is, you acting like BJJ is superior than wrestling, maybe you're right. But if Sambo was easy, it would be called Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
Nobody said Jiu Jitsu is better than Wrestling. We train wrestling and judo as well as Jiu Jitsu. We only posted this as an example of how not to approach a Jiu Jitsu academy. We have a lot of respect for Wrestlers and Judoka
What a handsome baby boy
for sure he wrestled. idk at a very high level. buddy, aint got the explosive muscle fibers that wrestlers build up. That shit stays with you for life.
also, rolling to give up the back instead of bridging and bumps. Not very high level mindset.
guess they must be 2 of the only 8k people that can "beat him in a roll"
The best part was when he was slowly being consumed and instructor turns to everyone else and starting saying "So my friends, this is the difference when-"... that had to be demoralizing to hear.
yikes
I’ve wrestled and this guy doesn’t look very high level at all, how can he claim to be high level if he didn’t wrestle in high school 🤦
Anyone that size and that “experience” even if not jits just wrestling…that engages that way online and brings that kind of energy when they are a newcomer to a place has likely got some sort of personality disorder…I’d be steering clear of that dude on the mat and in life
Heyyyooooooo that's me. I made it, mom
World famous
I'm a BJJ purple belt so I once submitted the owner of a dojo (we were both no gi). Then I got kicked out and told i wasnt welcome there anymore. However, a few of his pupils left right afterwards coz they couldn't take their coach's defeat well.
This guy's ego must of been insane lmao i wonder what echo chamber he has been in all his life. I don't want to 'waste my time as a white belt', literally said 'no ego only 8k people can beat me'. hahaha
He was a super white belt
he has an ego, but seems pretty chill. and also acknowledged that he needs to get better, ie, he has a mindset for growth.
I'm 12 KG and would beat him
low IQ detected
1:30 That smile is pure evil lmao great vid
Did he sign up?
He tried. We told him no
So he hasnt really wrestled before lol
wait a high level wrestler that showed no wrestling hahahah
he def wrestled but it was not high level
Thanks for acknowledging that this guy isnt actually high level. You even beat him even in the typical wrestling exchanges. This proves that your ego is solid and you have no need to try and shame the sport of wrestling itself. You are great guys and good athletes.
Well maybe, but he pulled guard almost everytime
You can see the skill set difference between student and coach at 2:12.. how flawlessly got the butterfly hook in swept him and immediately took the back.. just beautiful transition
to be fair, the butterfly was nice but the guy just gave him the back trying to escape mount, typical first time rolling mistake. Wrestlers hate having their back to the mat and it can cause them problems when they first switch to bjj.
@@james-m3k agreed.. seen lot of wrestlers even judokas turning their backs in jiu jitsu flat on the ground.. it’s just an instinct and rule set of their sport
Shoulda heel hooked him! Lol jk great video
It's a humbling sport
This was PERFECT. I'm sick of gyms using this kind of thing as an excuse to humiliate and injure these guys. You just sparred the guy at a regular pace and kept it respectful. Respect 🙏
I can’t recount the number of people over the years that told me about their high level wrestling skills when they were 12 😂
"wrestled at a high level and stopped before highschool" bruv what? 😂 i mean when someone says theyre a high level wrestler youd assume theyre d1 or d2 at the very least, but bro wasnt even a varsity high school wrestler for 4 years?
Wrestlers 😂
I'm assuming he didn't become a member
He said only 8k people in the world could out roll him… so 0.0001%?
Big dude has an ego the size of mt everest lolol that mustve been humbling.
Damn, I love wrestling, but at least be humble in trying something new, even if you think it’s stupid.
"But I'm 260." Where else have we heard this?
but im 260 tho
but im 250 tho
@@johnfinn4178 That's not 260 bro.
This dude doesn’t seem like that good of a wrestler based on what we get to see in this lol
He was 259 lbs that day. You got lucky. 😂
White-Belt here. 1:00 what is that move called and what is the proper technique for that?
Shoulder crunch to arm bar
Shoulder Crunch/Ude Gatame, the finishing mechanics require you either extend your opponent using your lower body or use your legs to control the shoulder and press them against the mat while you extend your body. But the guy couldn't control the 'high level' wrestler so he just transitioned to an armbar from bottom/guard.
I don't think he deserved the statment: HIGH LEVEL honestly... He wrestled couple of years in young age...So please give the right infos...Thanks
That was from him not us
@@NexusAJJ excuse me; you did title the video... So you wrote that
it is in quotes, because he messaged us saying that. You're excused Chris <3
@@NexusAJJ No worries, appreciate that
I was a "high level" wrestler myself... and, just like this guy, I completely overestimated how much that would translate into BJJ. Fortunately I kept my mouth shut about it, and hence, there are no videos of me getting smashed/humbled on the internet! 🙂
Every person with a solid wrestling background I’ve encountered on the BJJ mats have been awesome. Difficult roles even with minimal jits experience…you can feel that body awareness and base…wish I had a wrestling background before I started BJJ.
I don’t know much about wrestling and I’ve only been doing JiuJitsu for a year… But that big guy does not know much about either
Get humbled wrestler now see if he actually joins and sticks with Jiu Jitsu getting submitted every practice
Yeah, how dare I defend myself in the comments 😂😂😂
You may also keep your comments to yourself ❤️
We didn’t let him sign up. Not the vibe we are looking for tbh 👍
@@anti_Hype_334 You’re right. The massive positive community reaction is wrong and you are right. Soak it all in
You're not supposed to get submitted in practice? I must be worse than I thought then
