Do you have any tips on if someone keeps pulling their leg back? Because I always try this in rolling but I’m never able to pull this move off
Which leg? If you mean the right one in the video: I would look to bring your sweeping leg a bit higher to anticipate them high stepping out. This will either sweep them or force them to reset in front of you which will give you another opportunity to hunt the sweep 👍 If that doesn’t work, I would use it as an opportunity to go under your opponent and look for either 50/50 or a waiter sweep 👀
@ No, I always try to pull off a heel hook but I’m never able to pull it off because my partner just keeps pulling their leg away
You were nice compared to old school brazilian schools. Imagine challenging Rickson or Renzo
Idk about high level wrestler 😭😭
I'm sorry, but I just don't see any high-level wrestling. 🤼♂️
"wrestled at high level but stopped before high school" LOL, middle school wrestling team isn't "high level" lmao
I find those messages very amusing, as anyone with previous training know better than to boast and will generally just join, practice a bit and *IF their skill level is already higher than expected* the head coach is gonna pitch them against some advanced member or even an instructor to put them to test.
i feel like i just watched porn
Why would you expose me like this
0:20 does this setup have a name??
I was a high level little league pitcher too.
This guy was never a high level wrestler...plus most bigger wrestlers especially in high-school don't really learn much technique compared to let's say a 125 or 155 pounder
A lot of kids coming up do bjj and wrestling.
I’m the guy in blue. Can confirm it was a good throw
BULSHIDO 😅😅😅
Come for a free class and prove it 👀😁
Wrestled for 9 years, then stopped before high school…Doesn’t sound like a “high level” wrestler. Had a friend who grew up learning Sambo. He came to my BJJ class and destroyed everyone. Combat wrestling is far more versatile and affective than collegiate wrestling. Also, sparring and full contact sparring are totally different. Jujitsu practitioners usually lose against wrestlers in a full combat situation.
"Babe wake up! Nexus' TH-cam posted!"
GEHT UPPP
This guy did not even wrestle in high school so you know he sucks.
Cork screw arm bar. Very efficient technique actually one of my professors more fluent positions
That's not a high level wrestler
I'm no pro but he didn't seem like a high level wrestler
Best video yet
😢❤️❤️❤️
Pretty sure i saw Jason Momoa in the background
👀👀👀
hahaah yeah, I was thinking "Hang on is that Khal Drogo?!"
1:41 tackle and grapple had me losing it
Real ones get it 😂👍
@@NexusAJJ yes siiiiir!!
I would feel so embarrassed....,
I would of laughed my ass off and then told him to never come near my gym. Stupid people like this would only be trouble to have in class.
His wrestling kinda sucks 😂
You have an excellent teaching style, the ankle bulb detail will make explaining straight ankle mechanics to newer leg lockers so much easier! 👍
Thank you so much! 😁❤️
This is not a good wrestler. Stop it with that mess.
Recording this is giga cringe honestly
Close your eyes then
" no ego " all ego haha
“No ego” proceeds to assume only 8k out of 8 billion people can beat him on the ground proceeds to get mopped by the first three guys he sees in a random school significant below his weight class 🤣🤣🤣
My knees beg to differ
great demo sensei 🥇🥇 you are the best that BJJ has to offer show series techniques on this UKE bow and arrow choke, (back, ezekiel and other) GI chokes, leg locks: kneebar, toe hold please thanks 💪💪🔥🔥
I've seen manipulating the knee but coming up into that standing straight ankle is nasty work. Thanks for the vid! Oss
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed 😁❤️
Is that what happens when you play an uno reverse when rolling?
Thank you for this. This exact situation was happening every time!
This whole thing is kinda gay. Him for being a douche and you for thinking you actually did something by posting this video.
Womp womp
My thoughts exactly lol. Just all around cringe
“Only 8k people on the planet who can beat me in a roll”. I just want to know how he came up with those numbers 😂
Yog-jitsu
That one guy moves exactly like Nicky Ryan . So nice!
Uhm... yes, yes I've had.
I have*
Thumbnail looks like an ai generated image :D
there is no american ju jitsu , its BJJ
You’re wrong
@@NexusAJJ The term "American Jujitsu" represents an attempt to create a different identity without deviating from the technical and philosophical foundations of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. The emergence of this term can be seen as a purely marketing-driven strategy, devoid of genuine innovation or originality. Built upon the cultural and technical legacy that traditional Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu has developed over decades, American Jujitsu is essentially a repackaging of an existing system.
@ cry more
Classical Trump's asshole redneck communication... zero knowledge, zero argument, zero experience. Just empty words (like on tatami)
You want to argue over nonsense. Go whine to someone else
Sick!!!
But he’s 260….
okay so an out of shape lard azz who looks like he wrestled for a year or two in jr high walks in and gets handled by a higher belt. The guy clearly wasn't 'high level' in anything except maybe 12 oz curls, you really shouldn't pat yourself on the back so hard lol
What if the attacker doesn't wear a belt?
Then you can't do it
Some Gi Jiu Jitsu has evolved into something meant for sport not self defense.
Then he is probably attacking me to take my belt.....so I let him take my belt....then when he doesn't expect...BAM belt-jitsu him
Wrestling and bjj isn't even the main thing here. Dude stopped practicing in highschool and he thinks there's only 8k people in the world that can beat him???
where did bro come up with the number 8k
The way he's allowing them to control his head from a standing position and the quick suicide/gator roll he tried without any set up really makes me question the "high level" thing...
