Camp Avondale. Outside of Baton Rouge, LA. 1984 I remember riding around camp in one of the Staff member’s VW Microbus with The Beach Boys blasting from the cassette deck. We were on an OA project. We were so cool.
Sounds like a great time. Thanks for sharing that.
The fact that they are teaching kids the Pledge of Allegiance makes me feel like crying.
Suggestion: Retro Return
3:37 it’s wood yard not axe yard
I guess in CA 15 is cold...well done lads.

I doubt there were ever plantations like in the song. Stephen Foster picked the name off a map. It was always remote. The hull of that paddle-wheeler was in Troy Springs for years.
ayyyyy thats abt to be me
I watched this from another end of the Planet. I live in the Berezniki city, the Ural mountains. It's very interesting to live while learning English language with such kind of material. Now I know what the pinewood derby is in real life. Thank you very much.)
Hello and thank you for watching. Hope you enjoy other videos on the channel. Your English is pretty good.

As a 'knotty' scoutmaster who also loves orienteering, I love the 'Got Knots' print on the back of your Class B uniforms! T980, Springfield, Virginia.
Thank you Sir!
I remember my first camp out I was a Cub Scout when I went to a ranch reservation and the next year I went back as a boy scout
That’s cool. Sounds memorable.
Hope you hade fun I know I did.
We sure did, thank you!
8:09 I like how he just went, “Oh, hi,” 😂
LOL, they get used to the cameras pretty quick. That vid is a few years old now. That Scout just earned his Eagle Rank.
Awesome
It’s amazing that developers have not tried to build in there
It's a National Park with a few State Parks bordering it so no one can ever build there. Might be some private land owners on the edge tho.
the more i see this video, the better it gets
Thanks, glad u enjoy it!
Oh....Georgia... That explains a lot. Greetings from an old Yooper.
LOL! yes that's cold for us.
😂😂😂beautiful love dance ❤❤❤❤
Indeed! Thank you
Hi, those are really very beautiful views. Very beautiful nature. it can be seen that you enjoyed the trip. David PT
Thanks David! We certainly did. Take care.
Such a beautiful and unique scenery my friend! Shots are amazing 🔥🔥
Thank you! That is a very nice compliment coming from you. You produce some incredible videos.
From one Eagle Scout to another, Congratulations on this momentous milestone in your journey! May it carry you far, and may you continue to be an inspiration to those who come behind you. Let your example be one that all Scouts can be justly proud of, and keep soaring high Eagle Scout!
Thank you Sir!

Well done, young man. You will go far.
Thank you so much!
Great accomplishment!!
Thank you!
I enjoyed your video .
Thank you, hope you enjoy some of my other videos too.
Boy,this sure took me back to my youth! Some of my greatest childhood memories are of my Boy Scout days.
Thanks, I'm glad that it brought back some childhood memories. I hope that you enjoy some of my other Scouting videos too.
THE BOY SCOUTS NO LONGER EXIST BECAUSE THEIR DEI LEADERS KILED IT.
Exelente❤
Thank you Carlos!
Bet that guy caught that fish a few times before.
You are right, that's how he know the fish was in there.
He came to be picked up again and returned home , thanks for the tour now when do we return. 😂
I hope that never happens in the backyard of my dream Home🏡 Fishing will never be the same.🤔
Man and some have the nerve to say fish aint got feelings this proves them all wrong
Fish are smarter than most people think. That’s why they’re not easy to catch.
👍👍

Beautiful video I’m curious as to what camera you used . Thanks
Thanks, I made a video that explains all the gear I used to film that trip. Here is the link th-cam.com/video/cQoarQLXGlI/w-d-xo.html I have a newer Sea Base video that you might enjoy. It was the Keys adventure trek. I didn't do a tech video for that one but I used a Gopro 7 and 10 black. In both I used a selfie type stick that is a must. Let me know if you need any more info and thanks for watching.
Forgot to mention something that I use now that I didn't have in that 1st Sea Base vid, a pink filter that covers the lens when you are snorkeling will correct the color loss down to about 10 ft. That will give you better color. I used it in the second Sea Base vid and it made a difference.
@@OutsideDog Thanks very much! I’m a hobbyist photographer and haven’t really done videos . Is it advisable to bring my canon camera on the boat , like maybe for sunsets ?
It’s not really waterproof but thinking to use it while on the boat . What is your opinion on this ?
@@rachelleleonardo5066 Absolutely, that would be great for sunsets, sunrises and all the silly stuff the crew will do. I would say take as many pics as possible and years from now the Scouts will cherish each of them. Should have no problem keeping it dry.
I was waiting for this video! Best camp I staffed at!
Hope you enjoyed it. The staff at RM are top notch. It really shows throughout the week.
@@OutsideDogI just want to say that’s the best camp introduction I’ve ever seen
@@michaelgarrett4988 Thanks, it was easy because CRM has the best Staff year after year. Thank you for staffing.
My first campout, I nearly froze to death. It was very funny and we got all muddy. My troop is small and we only had 4 scouts that camped out. Lots of fun memories and That is where I earned scout rank. Now when I went to summer camp, I am First Class, on my way to Star, and Earning tons of merit badges.
Sounds like some good memories, thanks for sharing that. Congrats on earning 1st Class rank!
Great video as always! Love the drone footage. That new drone is earning its keep!
Thanks Joey! New drone is much better than the old one.
Thank you for this. My daughter loves fishing and I don’t know much about it. Have no idea what to do with catfish.
You are welcome, I didn't mention this in the video but a pair of gloves are good to help with the tiny catfish if she ever catches one of those. Thanks for watching.
Okefenokee is the most peaceful place on earth.
Agree, I was surprised at how silent it can be at times. Not a sound. Thanks for watching.
What happened with the cops
It was just a training exercise.
Awesome video!! Thank you for sharing. My wife and I are heading to Stephen C Foster the week after next and hope to get out in the swamp.
Thank you! Hope you get to go out into the swamp. Nice scenery around SCFSP.
I love being able to see all your adventures! I especially like the scouting videos, I’m joining soon myself and it’s nice to be able to see what happens
Thank you, glad you enjoy the vids. Awesome that you are joining Scouts. You will be having many adventures yourself.

😢😢😢 después d todo lo q e leído y visto pasar en lugares como estos jamás dejaría un hijo mío 🤮
It's OK. Not everyone can be a Scout.
They left out the snipe hunt where you come back and the camp site is dark and seemingly abandoned. Real funny. I went into the building with my knife out (I warned them so) and got hit hard in the back, did a tumble and came up with an "OK fuckers, let's dance!" All of a sudden things got REAL serious. They took me home and neither they nor I wanted anything to do with each other after that. Very unprofessional behavior on their part, but that was the 1960s for you...
Yeah they took me on a snipe hunt in the 70's. No knives but we were pissed. I think you may have explained why snipe hunts are a thing of the past. Thanks for watching
@@OutsideDog Yeah, I was one of those autistic (Aspie) loners who didn't fit in anywhere. Glad to hear they dropped the snipe hunts. Nothing says you can't trust your leadership than coming back in the dark to find the campsite apparently abandoned. But I need to take my share of the blame, too. All for the best in the end, I'd have never fit in anyways and would probably have been a disruptive influence. Thx for listening.
