Amazing. I love that little bass melodies
Jesus Christ that was pure art. Incredible performance!
unreal musicians
Axenrot!!!! I wish he would come back.
That hair is feathered and beautiful in the thumbnail.
THIS!
Slow the song of 0,75 Specially for the solo ❤
Drums 🔥🔥🔥
This song has quite a Tobias Forge vibe.
The connection is closer than most people realize.
Axe played like an absolute god
When I first heard this I thought imma write a riff like that. Still trying
The more I listen to Fredrick I realize that he is just one of the best in the business...his tone is just incredible...he's got the perfect rig, but it's also in his hands...really really great
2:24 "centers corroding contracting a moewelluh ...... HILL!" lmao Michael forgot the line
Michael has them PIPES
Opeth Dont ever Stop Playing Music!!!!!
If you’re going to sell your soul to Satan, at least get something more in return than just killer guitar skil-- ummm, I don’t know that one guy does have himself some skillzzz. BUT first I’d want to see what skills the God of heaven would give me. Plus the lighting in heaven I think would seem less gloomy, where as in hell they would have to make more use of lighting to make it seem roomier.
If the heavens gave'd you something, nobody would have to make a deal with the devil
Esses teclados soam como um soco no ouvido, que beleza esse Hammond simulando a caixa leslie!!
The second section of this song is so fucking catchy
Oh my Godness..what ? Sounds weird. Is Nightwish going Black or Death Metal ?
Fantastic sound, fantastic location, and unbelievable talented musicians. This must have been a magical night for everyone there
You can tell by the camera cuts, the editor is a fan of this band. They are so perfect
"ᴛʜᴇ ᴅᴇᴠɪʟ ɢᴜɪᴅᴇꜱ ᴛʜᴇ ᴡᴀʏ ᴛᴇʟʟꜱ ᴍᴇ ᴡʜᴀᴛ ᴛᴏ ꜱᴀʏ ᴘᴏᴜʀꜱ ʜɪᴍꜱᴇʟꜰ ɪɴꜱɪᴅᴇ ᴀɴᴅ ꜱɴᴜꜰꜰꜱ ᴛʜᴇ ꜰɪɴᴀʟ ʟɪɢʜᴛ" Long live Opeth🖤
Magnífico🤘🏻
That sounded infinitely better than the Heritage version. Actually, this is some of the best shit I've ever heard anywhere. When a band can sound this good live, you know you've got something special.
100 percent agreed. I don't actually like the album version that much, but throw this on constantly. The drums are just unreal.
Estoy viendo este video en el colectivo en Buenos Aires y creo que estoy haciendo más pogo que toda esa gente junta...
A very under rated song. One of my faves. All Hail!
2:48 🖤🖤🖤🖤
Fucking badass! So precise and complex like Gojira
Excellent 👌
6:55 🤟🏽

Oyea
Макаревич - приятно удивил
Fantastic....
EPIC SONG 🎵 😎
I wish you didnt cut the intro.its such a nostalgic tune.
So much talent!
They sound amazing
Yeah, I think he's also the drummer from Bloodbath
Sweden, my small country, has three of the best bands ever: Opeth, Meshuggah and Isildur's Bane.
Agree about Meshuggah and especially Opeth, but I gotta listen to the other guys. Also, you forgot Abba!
bro i love your swedish symphonic gothic metal bands. they are just masterpiece. greetings from Indonesia!
You forgot the best one!! ABBA
meshugga and insuldurs who? NO. what a huge insult to the Swedish Gods Anders Nyström, Jonas Renkse, Dan Swanö, Erik Danielsson to name a few. So Correction. Opeth, Bloodbath (only the 2 albums 2 EP’s & Live Wacken 2005 Performance with Mikael on vocals), Katatonia, Diabolical Masquerade, October Tide (Rain without End album Jonas on vocals) Watain, Edge of Sanity (Dan Swanö), Nightingale, old In Flames (95-02 era), Dark Tranquility
And Pain of Salvation
Good god Axe still blows my mind lol such a awesome drummer
Damn...Svalberg is a bad ass.
Everything except for the solo is garbage. It's not because it came out after Heritage either. It's too fucking upbeat and happy, and the solo just isn't that great, it just sounds better than it is because of the rest of the song being so terrible your ears automatically like it because it's not any other part of the song lol
you like the Allman brothers tf you on about lol
If you think this is happy you must be in a pretty bad place, get well soon
Uffff....*UFFFF*, Opeth en grande
The studio recording is dry chicken compared to this live version
Reminds me of the good old days when we had raw music with knobs on!
okay but so many years has passed and Axenrot is still my favorite drummer
Shit I don't know if you heard the news then
Axenrot should have been with them since the very beginning. He's much, much more capable than Martin Lopez who ruined a lot of incredible songs with his lazy and frequently low-energy performance, case in point being Godhead's Lament. I think it's telling that we got the first (and last) blastbeat ever in an Opeth song when Axenrot stepped in.
Beauty..
Beauty.
The solo in this song is fantastic!
I'd argue that it's one of the best solos ever written.
