Amazing fun off roading at Wheeldon in door centre on e-bikes!
I use riding to try and combat my poor mental health, and once I've got over the pre-ride anxiety, I find that riding forces me to concentrate on the now.

The Black Mountains Off Road TRAP That Almost Got Me
มุมมอง 89หลายเดือนก่อน
I took my BMW G310GS light adventure motorcycle on 80/20 tyres up to the BMW Motorrad GS Challenge, to compete for the first time. The off road section was amazing fun, but I didn't expect the trap that nearly got me! The BMW Motorrad GS Trophy Black Mountains Off Road Sections were for me the highlight of riding my G310GS light adventure motorcycle through the Brecon Beacons and the Black Mountains of Wales. Even though I was on 80/20 tyres, and they were ORS Skills Level 2 lanes, I never felt over faced, and loved getting off the back lanes and onto proper tracks. As a light adventure motorcycle rider, I'm always looking for places to ride my motorbike, and potentially camp at as well. CF Moto 450 MT - Not for me - ABR 2024
มุมมอง 3.7K3 หลายเดือนก่อน
A lot of people are saying how much they love the CF Moto 450 MT, but I just couldn't like it enough to want to ride one again. I found it utterly underwhelming compared to bikes such as the Himalayan 452, and the Honda Transalp. I'm sure to get a lot of flack from fans of the bike for not liking it, but my dislike should in now way affect how much they like their own bike. I use riding to try ...

I love your ‘Wheeeeeee 😂. I’ve had a lot of fun watching your video! I’m going to buy one to when I collect my pension 🫶🤗
Glad you enjoyed it, it's my most popular video by far! Also, that bike is just so much fun.
his he on a pan European, no wonder he makes it look easy, the singer sewing machine on wheels.
That's brill fun. I want to take my kids there
Where is this at?
This was ABR Festival 2023
Wow 😮
Yeah, we’re lucky down here.
Sounds turbulent and noisy - does the screen cause it?
I don't remember it being that noisy to be honest.
I’m watching Itchy Boots all the time. This was not that noisy, just a bit of wind.
I think you’d like the Rally! The screen and bigger tank are good.
Y'know, I think I prefer your 'voice over' to your on-bike narration. Just my opinion 👍
Living the dream there (although dosent feel it at the time does it) and pushing barriers...well done
I tensed so fucking hard at that point! Surprised I didn't fucking scream.
300 cc vs 280 kg. 0-100 = 14 sec - Gps topspeed = 123 km/h
OUCH!!!! Well done for your caring attitude by 1. Sharing widely and 2. Laughing like a drain. It’s what friends are for😂😂😂 Great work Centurion! Hope D has finally recovered ❤️
I broke a rib not laughing mate.
@@ExeterCenturion brilliantly executed bit of film. Deserves an award
I was enjoying that right up until the inevitable rest stop. You try to help those coming towards you by doing the inherently dodgy rut swap. When your bike dev to rest they’re just sitting there. Bad form. Very bad form. I’m excusing your riding buddy because I know he was unable to move for laughing hysterically 😉😉😉😂😂😂 But those you tried to help? Very bad.
Somehow crashing whilst stationary. This is the content I subbed for.
Glad you enjoyed it 😂
Can't take him anywhere😂
ER normally has an orgasm on tracks like that.
I've just subscribed to your channel after hearing Exeter Rider mention you on his latest ABR vid. I think the road between Crediton and Bickleigh is rubbish with a sunken metal manhole cover on most corners. In contrast the Bickleigh/Cowley Bridge road is a cracker. I've been brainwashed by your background music so much so that I was humming it in front of the telly earlier on. My wife asked what the tune was and I said "Fu..ed if I know'.
I heard you needed to have big balls for this offroading lark, but apparently it has it's drawbacks. Sumo training next season! ;-)
I’ve never tried so hard to not laugh!
I have a tricity 300 too, but seeing you riding that and your comments made my day😂. Hope you enjoyed it, and next time, try the yamaha niken so you can pull the clutch 😂😂😂
I’m praying they get the Niken as I really want to try that!

@@ExeterCenturion 😅😅👍
I don't really care about reviews and hype on the internet, you have to ride a motorcycle yourself. If I think it's good for me, I don't care if others think it's bad and the same goes the other way round. I'm buying a product for myself and not for others.
Well done on the result. Was a good ride. It’s a learning experience. Ride safe.
Thanks, will do!
Bloody love Urals ❤
Is the point to try and lose the guy? #ConfusedSoutherner
No, however I knew if I even wanted to, I couldn't :)
Thankfully not another gushing, glowing review for once. It seems folk are far too keen to jump on people who hold a different opinion! A personal perience is subjective. More reviews like this are needed. I have ridden numerous motorbikes and frequently find the reviews bestowing god like status are biased. And who wouldn't give great reviews when you are flown to exotic locations on ocassion at the manufacturers cost. If you give a negative review the jollies stop.
Yeah, I've hidden a few replies from people here who took objection to me not liking them. Others I've responded to with 'okay, happy to watch a video of you on the bike explaining why you like it so much'. I've had no responses to this, so I get the feeling that most people not liking this video don't actually own a 450!
Well said bro.
Congratulations on passing
You would not normally need to be concentrating so hard looking for blinkers on a MC behind you and found it was a distraction having to look harder
I do find it odd that Honda do this.
when you passed the slow traffic, did you indicate? (around 6 mins in on the video)
I honestly can’t remember now!
First off my observer had running lights which makes it extremely difficult to spot when they are blinking. After a couple of missed turns on my first 2 rides he turned the running lights off and no more issues since then. There is no need to make it more difficult than it needs to be imo
Yeah, I get why Honda do it, but I was worried I'd miss a turn. Not that that's an issue, but still.
I too was impressed with the Trans Alp. As much as I’d love to have one in the garage, I refuse to buy the only color in the USA , matte black. It doesn’t hold up.
Yeah, the colours don’t do it any favours.
Lol dude you are riding 10mph, how the hell die you think this is a review…
lol dude, we get out on the road. Happy to watch your video of the 450. Drop us a link.
whats an offroad bike meant to feel like? also makes me laugh how you say i wont run it offroad..its no trans Alp...but you havent ridden it off road lol. and dont judge a new bike with a snatchy throttle as most new bikes are like that to get thru euro 5 and its nothing a tune wouldnt fix or even one of the free ones cfmoto will release.
An off road bike is a bike I think “I’d take that off road.” I wouldn’t with this bike. If you’ve got many miles off road on yours would love to hear the pros and cons.
Great fun 👍👍
Yes it was
You looked like you enjoyed that! 👍
I did!
That looks like a lively ride. Bet you enjoyed it!
It was!
Hi I just brought pre owned one wanted to know why is there a spare key with the Tricity when it’s keyless. What does it open ?
Don’t know I’m afraid as I don’t own one 😁
It opens the buddy seat.. Keyhole is on the right side tucked away under the buddy seat by the rear wheel and suspention. I bought mine with about 2300 km on it and they never gave me that key.
Very interesting. Considering the conditions you kept very cool👍
That BMW g310 gs was better suited (in terms of weight) for the trails then the african twin or R1200 GS. the baby gs only weights 170 kg whilst the African weights over 232 kg!
Yeah, and the power difference was huge as well!
The way it roars there's good potential of burning yer tent down! 😂😂👍
😂😂Very true, then again his tent is next to my van at ABR. Not next year though with this contraption 😂 Very good though 🎉
@@exeterrider 🤣🤣🤣🤣👍
Yeah. Won’t be using it IN the tent. 😂
Damn right… thats a flame thrower in a can mate! 🫣
Re my comment. Typo far too small diametet
Why has nobody commented on that small diameter metal bar above the instrument cluster? Far to s MN all diameter to be of any use! I have a 2024 Versys and can not find any use for it at all!!
They were great ! The chaps doing the demo ride were “ The Sidecar Guys “. They went round the world with a scooter and sidecar. So they really know their stuff and really nice blokes too. Lovely video!
Good review. You were nicer about it than me. The moi think about it the more I feel like it is better than a bullet except that I didn’t like the handling or the idiot lights or the riding position. But better enough to swap out? Noooo. That says more about the goldie than the bullet😩
I thought you'd fallen off the bike trying to get mounted up at the end!
It’s the “ WEEEEE” 😂😂
Dont be critical of a CF Moto..... You'll send the Fanboys into a meltdown! 😜
They really are upset! :)
@ExeterCenturion 🤣🤣 All good for your channel.. 😛
😂😂😂😂😂😂
The dash looked good. Many bike rev show how the dash gets all blurry at speed but this one didn’t.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We have been lucky to have lots of “experiences” over the years. But the experiences we have now are just as wonderful thanks to the likes of you, Darren and @exeterrider and many many other bike enthusiasts I’m meeting. It’s why I decided I had to go to the Dragon Rally as well. You meet the nicest people on bikes. Most are as mad as a box of frogs but lovely to know. Anyway… loved the review and even more so as we got to experience so much of the route. Did the panel of your lid catch the wind?
Yeah, peak caught the wind and ripped my head back 😂
Nice video , have done 13500 km on my 23 Versys 650 , it gets better as it gets run in, gearbox smooths out , riding in traction 2 mode is best for commuting in low speed situations. Traction 1 mode allows wheelies with a bit of intervention , traction off , wheelies are free form . It’s good on smooth gravel but the small 17 inch front wheel doesn’t like proper off road . Great twisties bike , great touring solo bike .
@orionswitness that’s a good distance!
