LMU still tracks only the fastest lap of a race, not the qualifying times or total race time. Since you can easily cheese by pitting late for a quick lap with no fuel, this is the fastest I've been and seen in-game.

hello! How much fuel you had?? and what's the package "le mans" or "wec" (or nothing change?)
there are no packages in LMU, it's only livery. i was on 10ish liters of fuel

I can only drive as the game allows it, plus it's not uncommon to see the same line taken in real life as well, putting some part of the wheel on the dirt in certain scenarios.
What pc do you have
CPU: Ryzen 7 5800X3D on a B450 Tomahawk Max GPU: RTX 4070Ti RAM: 32GB @3200 MHz The game is on a 1TB HDD, so that needs upgrading.

It depends on the track temperature, but it is between 3 and 6.
I’m debating wether to get LU would you recommend it? I’ve heard so much bad about it but it looks alright not sure what to think
For the driving alone, it's worth it. It has the best-feeling cars, both GT and Prototype. It still needs features, but when you actually get to drive it, it's the best.

I own a few of your setups for the Ferrari. I'm struggling to run the car in therain. Generally there's a lack of balance between turn and turn from under to oversteer both mechanical and aero. Do you have a general direction on how to modify setups if the race is going to be partially in wet conditions, like Weekly SPA this week? Or maybe I have to drive way differently. Thanks.

If the base setup is to my liking, maybe.

How did you figure out that the car is quicker when shifting at lower RPMS than the shift lights indicate?
I just look at the delta. I do some laps and see what gains/loses me time going from 5th to 6th, 6th to 7th as by then the speeds should equal out.

I've heard that they are horrific to drive and the flow of the circuit is gone. I'll discuss with the devs first on how to improve it, and then I'll come back and redo this.

Which steering wheel and base are you using ?
VRS wheelbase; Cube Controls Formula Pro wheel.
What ARBs, TC and motor map have you used? Did you change any of the mid lap?
3-2 ARB, default TC with lower cut, 100KW. I added as much as possible rear ARB for the final corner, 8-9. Don't have time for more clicks.

What truly amazing is how the real world camera has zero jiggle. Never seen that before.
This game requires a powerful CPU (Ryzen x3d), 32GB RAM and a powerful GPU with 16GB vRAM (e.g. 7900gre). Don't count on optimization. There will be no optimization

The Lambo wheel reminds me of the Cadillac for some odd reason.
In my eyes, it has all of the drawbacks of the Cadillac, with none of the upsides.
I suppose not using the hybrid somehow helps with the handling?
No, I am using the hybrid, it's just that before the latest DLC update, the hybrid system wasn't audible in replays.

Would be interesting if you were allowed to run different specs like in the Group C era. In the 2024 LeMans Peugeot could've run with one 23 spec and one 24 spec
I thought the same thing. I would have loved to see a "privateer" (like Ferrari's yellow car) to run the 2023 car. They actually might have won that way 🤣
every minor detail is present in the track, from the sponsors, to the gravel traps, to the kerbs... if only codemasters tried as hard as LMU, this game is awesome
It's funny, when I first saw LMU I didn't think much of it since it had to compete with like ACC and iRacing. And now I see it's far better than I initially gave it credit for.
This game sucks. When I get into my SIM cockpit, I can't feel the G-Force. Well, I'm off to play the real thing, GT7 and ACC. 😂
how do you manage to brake at 100% in almost every corner ?? When I am driving the hypercar, the car just lock-up from the rear or in the front so I can't even make the corner
I've made a lot of setup adjustments. You can get my setup from the link below. But it also comes with experience; finding the limit.

@@PedroTKXnow I saw an esport player from GT7 which is doing record, and he play with ABS low, I mean, that's cheated but more comfortable
You have to learn how to drive downforce cars: slam on the brakes hard at first and then slowly roll your foot of the brake with decreasing speed (and downforce).

Ps: for me personal the default peugeot setup for 2024 car is bad. Oversteer everywhere with front arb set to p1 and rear deatched (saw it on imola moment ago). when i go rear to p3 and front to p1 the car feels so much better. But again this is a personal opinion.
I have a lap around Imola, you can get my setup there. It's a lot more predictable than the default one.

Man, that's fast. Are you setting your suspension to very soft or stiff for Imola? I keep bouncing of the kerbs too much, I'm struggling with the setup on that one. Keep up the good work!
You have to find the right balance. Around Imola, I was struggling to figure out what was needed, but you can get my setup via the link in the description.

My most disliked track in sim racing PERIOD. Great lap I can’t bear to drive this track in any game at all was just never good at it.
