    I wonder if that's how some of the War Zeppelins sounded like. Maybe the O or M class Zeppelins did but the later ones like the P class sounded like the L-32 one in featured in "Hells Angels"

    A friend was telling me how he doesn't worry about such things, living here as we do in a small city in the northern Rockies of British Columbia. Then I reminded him we have a fuel refinery, a rail hub, and a major Highway junction. We are a primary target for any sort of strategic conflict.

    Considering the current state of world affairs, perhaps Britain should do an inventory of potential public shelter sites. The old deep level bomb shelters from World War II would be better than nothing.

    Hurricane force winds and temperatures of 1000’s of degrees centigrade everything would be destroyed, and 20 megaton fusion hydrogen bombs with a range of 100’s of miles radiating from the epicentre of detonation anything on the surface disappears. One or two bombs an entire war is lost and all of its population and infrastructure and all its buildings. The ground would be unusable. War in the nuclear age is stupid, you can get totally annihilated in one day with two bombs delivered by one submarine or aircraft or hidden in a civilian lorry. You can’t use war as a method of change you would get nuked and totally annihilated especially if you live on a tiny island half the size of France. Playing soldiers these days makes no more sense than wanking, a totally stupid activity in the nuclear age.✌️❤️🇬🇧

    • @elizabetherne556
      @elizabetherne556 5 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Yeah it’s stupid. But with events now it’s possible. Back in the day our leaders did think about the aftermath and toll it would take. More unstable countries have them now. You’d think after two world wars and what my country did dropping the bomb on Japan twice we’d have been done with nuclear bombs. But nope. Here we are with more. Nobody wants to fight a war except the leaders of our countries. They don’t have to fight. They find ways to keep their children from going off to fight. War is extremely profitable. Not for us average people. The elite make the money. Then they hoard it away and never help the average person.
