Pov: Riding an S1000xr in Corvara Italy.
I think this was day 11 of our Europe shred. Riding down into town was another perfect road on another perfect day on an all too perfect bike.
Enjoy the chatter too. It's mostly just me talking to myself.

This morning we saw a road. We turned around to get a closer look and..well...this. That's my travel partner Dan on an Indian FTR 1200. Absolute mad lad. We are currently shredding Europe and looking to demolish as many twisty roads as possible!! leave a comment and let me know where we should go! Find more on Instagram! theouterknobbies
Moto Guzzi V7 III Carbon, out for a rip HD sound and one Goat
มุมมอง 1.8K2 ปีที่แล้ว
First of all I must thank Charlotte, one of my closest friends for trusting me with her Guzzi for the day. I have to apologize for the absolutely savage "Italian tune up" I gave your bike. In my defense, it was overdue and I'm a man-child. She rides a 2018 Moto Guzzi V7 III in Carbon trim with around 20k on the clock. I actually liked riding this bike a lot more than I initially thought I would...
Tenere 700 Dyno Tuning, drag racing and bonus Indian FTR1200
มุมมอง 5K2 ปีที่แล้ว
I finally had the bike tuned by Mike of MAS Cycle in Langley. He did a phenomenal job and gave me permission to film a little. Here's what I've come up with from that. Previously I've run a 13.19 @ 97Mph and immediately after tuning ran 12.77 @100Mph, What a difference! Please forgive the horrible audio compared to the last video, I have been experimenting with different setups and this attempt...
Out for a rip. Tenere 700 pure sound, top speed and Baby Cows
มุมมอง 5K2 ปีที่แล้ว
I went for a little scoot, found some cows and tried to pretend I'm good at riding motorcycles. In my head I'm basically Graham Jarvis. Threw in a top speed run for good measures. I'd figure a stock bike is probably faster up top since I've added crash bars, auxiliary lights, skid plate, had a backpack on and it was a Wednesday. Although my bike does have a Unifilter and I removed the buttplug ...

I felt the truck wasn't fast enough so it was time to turn up the boost anyways before I get bored and tear it all apart again. Tenere 700 Throttle Body Sync
มุมมอง 8K2 ปีที่แล้ว
I found there wasn't really a good video covering the Tenere 700 throttle body synchronization procedure. I tried to keep this simple yet informative without spinning off into 17 different directions at once. Before taking this job on definitely find a service manual online which I have no idea where to find... motorcycle7usa.com/yamaha-tenere-700-service-manual/ Borrow a Manometer or get a few...

Wow, that audio is actually heinous. Apparently I'm short too and can't see over my handlebars and I need to tidy up my cluster of a dashboard. What a wreck. Anyways, here's a minute and 46 seconds of me thinking I'm WAY cooler than I actually am. Too bad you can't hear or see anything. That would make me at least 7% cooler. Well, at least I have a Tenere 700 and some new technology that I'm fa...
687000Km P pump 12v Cummins How to: Adjust Valve Lash

I bought a 1998 Dodge Ram 2500 with 687,000km off Craigslist. It was posted for 2 hours and had over 20 emails. I was the 2nd person in line for it and the first who actually showed up. When I arrived it wouldn't even start without some help from our friend Brake Clean and it hardly moved because the transmission was "Bad" I poured 4L of ATF in it and drove it home with help from a friend. Finding Fast Floyd, Part one; The Dually
มุมมอง 1883 ปีที่แล้ว
The Dually and I finally made it to the coast. Nothing went according to plan. This truck started out with my 6 years ago. It was a 440/727 2wd truck. Comprised of two 1980's cabs welded together, 1993 diesel frame, post 82 body and a late 80's grille. Shortly after buying it I swapped in an intercooled 5.9L 12 Valve Cummins from a 1992 farm truck and bolted a 46RH (A518) 4 speed automatic behi...

HI, CAN YOU DO A VIDEO OF HOW TO FIX ERROR P0201 ??
Hi Luis. I'm quite busy with work the next few months. Maybe in July or August? Take a multi meter set to ohms, unplug your injector 1 (LH) connector and measure the resistance across it. I'd expect 10-20 ohms. If its OL very high it needs an injector. or If that is ok, inspect your connector pins for any damage. Turn the key on and look for DC voltage on one pin and nothing on the other. Reconnect and ensure its fully seated and see if the bike is fixed just from un plugging and plugging back in. If not, you either have a broken wire or a bad ECU. Good luck.
The transmisson sounds like a old bus
I have to agree.
next level !
that was so cool he didnt try to over rev the motor in 1 2 or 3 gears yknow start at too low rpm and sound like a bad a@s when the rpm s start getting really high
Thats sick!

Those mics are sick
Was this in a movie?
I hope it will be one day!
dang is this the stock exhaust?
I removed the spark arrestor and it was stock otherwise!
What is that beautiful song?
Get it! What a sound! 🎉😮❤
Good, straight forward how to get it done, Cheers!
Weird! So far i have seen it pull upto 210kmph
Rockauto is the beez neez
Amazing combo love it!!
how you get that exhaust sound? it´s the OEM "open" drilled out?
I removed the muffler cap and the restrictor. I believe European models are welded in place though.
What is the maximum and minimum acceptable vacuum pressure? My two are at 12 mm, is this normal? Do I have to raise both to 10 mm? The idle is a little unstable
That's actually a great question! The amount of vacuum the engine produces depends on your idle speed in this case. Is your idle within specification? If it is the amount of vacuum produced isn't important. What is important is that the vacuum created on each is the same. There's a variance specification in the service manual. (See how I'm making sure you read the manual?) The reason being is the MAP sensor only reads cylinder #1. So cylinder #2 is based off the reading from #1. If they don't match it will be rich or lean and cause poor riding characteristics, which this aims to improve. I hope that explains it.
According to manual, intake vacuum should be 39.3-41.6 kPa (295-312 mmHg, 11.6-12.3 inHg)
Are you on the stock Pirelli tires in this video?
I am not. I had Mitas E-10 Dakar. I ran my stock tires for 10k kms and never had the confidence offroad to ride at a brisk pace with them.
this is soo fkn mint i really like what youve done here sounds very healthy youd think id dead hook being a duelly but the cummins takes the w haha thats for sure subd cant wait for more nice swap
I really appreciate that! The tires are definitely getting old and hard. The open diff doesn't help either. In the future I'm planning a locker and traction bars. That will put the power down for sure. Once it stops spinning, then it's time for more power!
OH BABY SHE COOKA DA PIZZA
SPICY PEPPERONI! 🤌🤌🤌
Good video no music tho 😂
Thanks, kinda hard to find music to go along with the CLACK CLACK CLACK of a loose valvetrain. I'll make sure the next one is set up just for you.
For me,that speed is too much for inline 2 adventire bike, for 689cc.So why peole are keep on complaining about this? Were there are thousand of cc for adventure bike or even more ,were you can choose instead of compalining.
I feel the power is great with the bike. It's enough to do everything I want! I had it tuned and I'll be doing another video soon with the new top speed, just for you!
Thanks bro,by the way keep safe specially on gravel,👍👍👍
Good save
great video. Bike sounds awesome going down the strip. good increase in the performance with that tune. I want to re map mine.
Thank you! I really wish the sound turned out like the last video. I'll be back at the track some time this summer and nail it down. The tune helped a ton. Definitely reccomend it
Excellent👌👌
They go faster than that too 👍
I took mine out a few nights ago to test some new lights. Corrugated dirt road, looked at the dash and was doing almost 160kmh. Deceptively fast
I definitely believe it. I just had the bike Dyno tuned and it's a different animal now. I'll be doing another video soon with updates!
Hey does your T7 also shudder a little bit when the rear gets loose suddenly? Like I when I'm loose terrain or even on a really bad pavement and on the throttle I feel like the whole thing gets upset it's weird. Either way looks like a lot fun!
Yes it definitely does. All bikes I've ridden offroad react like that. As you're hitting a pothole, washboard and rough terrain. I've found dialing my suspension in has helped a lot. Sag first, go to factory reccomended adjustment on the clickers and experiment from there. I've gone firmer on compression and faster on rebound. It's helped but it will never be perfect.
@@cvbadv That's great, thank you! Glad it's not just me. I'll have to play with those clickers some more :D
Awesome!
Thank you! Any constructive criticism?
@@cvbadv I can't find anything really wrong with this. Though you're in a really niche market so don't expect lots of views. More technical/loose terrain might attract some spectators but I appreciate you making this so us T7 hopefuls can enjoy the thrill of the ride while we save.
just in 20.000 make this service??? or you first make the valves???
This service is due every 7000km if I recall. Valves are due at 42000km.
@@cvbadv need sybchronize the calbulaor??? every 7000???? in service manual is ??? or you make ???? i have the 750 xtz and in manual is wehn make the valves service then need synchronize..
@@panagoskakatosis5314 its a very different bike than the 750 and requires very different service. This bike also has throttle bodies with fuel injectors, not carburetors.
i will keep the 750 looks more easy for service i make allready the valves and calbutaror only wth calbulator settings spend many time to lern and tests..
? ?яⓞ??Ş?
Same here.
Great video. I need to check mine.
It really does help. It's supposed to be checked as early as the 600km service!
Ivhave my tracer which ist identical to tenere for 6 years and never touched the throttle Body. As Long as your engine runs fine you dont need to do this. Before you sync you check and or replace valve clearance, Air Filter and Spark plugs anyway. You just dont only check syncing without all the other important parts for a well running engine.
Syncing is the Last step you do after all other important Parameters.
The dually is bitch'n man 🤘🏼. Dodge Dart approved
Dart vs Dually?!
@@cvbadv hell yes. 🤘🏼🤩🤘🏼

Amazing video, not the easiest access to the throttle body.
Thank you. I tried my best to show everything. Once you have done it a few times it's pretty easy. Get yourself a 90⁰ screwdriver and you can do it without pulling the tank!
They don't look cool, but short people need helmet mounts for gopros.

Loved it!
Sure glad you stuck it out with that rig, shes an absolute beaut now.
More to come ;)
That looked pretty painless. I'm sure you could manage that at an overnight stay if you were doing a long trip (obviously disposing of the used stuff properly etc. etc.). Thank you Yamaha. 😊
I absolutely agree! You could do it outside any automotive service centre. Find yourself an old milk jug to catch the oil from the crankcase and filter and dispose of it there. I'm sure the folks working would get a kick out of it too! Definitely ask if they don't mind and will accept the oil too.
@@cvbadv wow that was a fast reply, thank you. I'm on the lookout for a bike to get to unusual parts of Europe. I'd love to mix road sections with parts of the TET (trans European trail) and get to places I have only read of as a child. I love the Honda crf300 but I think the road sections would overstress the motor....hence a larger twin bike. Hopefully my dreams will come true and I'll get to places from Norway to Greece and Ireland to as far as I can get to East. 👍
@@Jungleland33 you caught me at a good time. I'd say this bike is fantastic for that. I've travelled all over western Canada the past 18 months, 19000kms. If you're looking for a first bike it's very tall and heavy. The 300 could easily do the trips too but at a milder pace on the freeways. If you're experienced definitely go for a T7. I love mine. I'd ride it around the world tomorrow!
@@cvbadv Cheers. I've been a biker for almost 40 years so I suppose I've picked up a few things along the way. Unless Honda come up with a CRF450 rally I'll probably be going with a T7 as it seems to tick the most boxes at present. I had a Maico 490 many years ago and hopefully I have retained what I learned on that. Onward and upward.
@@Jungleland33 With that news, 100% go get a T7! You're going to love every single second of it! Make sure it's blue. ;)
i didnt know u can wear glasses 🤓 and a helmet... nice
Yeah absolutely! Some helmets are made for it. Goggles have a "OTG" designation for over the glass. Trial and error, personal preference and head shape are big factors. Might have to get smaller glasses or different ones dependent on your head shape. The first few rides, expect it to be tight. Your helmet will take time to fully break in.
Great vid and scenery. What camera setup do you run?
Thanks! Stay tuned for more. I have a few others I'm working on. This was all shot with my S8! I maxed the video settings and only used the front camera. Edited with Blender.
Whats your height? Trying to figure out whether its too tall.
I'm 6 foot, around a 32 inch inseam. It's tall but manageable. If you get into a situation or aren't paying attention she will take you down. I've definitely had a nap trying to find the ground. I'm used to it now though!
Great Video, keep up the good work. Hope to get up to BC Canada soon myself, bucketlist. A lot of rocky fireroads down here in Phoenix, Az! :)
Thanks André. Definitely visit after Covid! It's epic up here.
