I had about 3 of them that went bad .The last one the warranty Expired before it broke not Buying another .
Used this a few times, stopped working so natually i checked the fuse. Fuse and holder melted! Cheap is cheap!

That was my exact issue on my 2001 Ranger. Thank you! The last owner must have had this problem, as well. When I opened the panel, that fuse was lit up. It had been replaced with a new one that has an LED to let you know it’s bad. I think that fuse had been going bad on its own, though. When I got the truck I found that I only had 8.5 volts out of the cigarette lighter. I never could use it to power things. When the ODB II went dead and I found this video, I checked it and found it was dead, too. Replaced the fuse. The cigarette lighter is now giving full voltage. Very strange.

32 PSI is the proper amount for those tires unless you’re full loaded.
It's harber freight, not known for quality, but they are cheap, and with some fabrication skills, they can be beefed up, or you know, take it back for a full refund.
Did you have any issues with the manifold sticking up higher then the heads, like where the valve covers sat it would not be completely flat.

If it’s a Manuel transmission then why do we put automatic transmission fluid? ( asking because it’s my first time doing this and don’t want to buy the wrong fluid)
Some manual transmissions rely on splash lubrication to protect bearings, gears, synchro's etc the M5OD-R1 being one of them as a light duty gearbox. Heavier weight oils can run the risk of not properly lubricating those areas. Stick with what the manufacturer recommends which is Mercon ATF, you can buy Dex/Merc or use new Mercon V ATF.
@@tylerwilliams1882 imma have to double check my manual, it certianly mentions using 75w gear oil iirc but im unsure if they mention if the Mercon V is acceptable.
Because that is what the manufacturer requires.

A few tips. Turn the compressor on BEFORE connecting the air hose. Turning it on after connecting the air hose puts a lot of stress on it. Another thing, these little air compressors aren’t made for regular use. They’re made to leave in your vehicle and used in case you have tire problems on the road. So basically, use them for emergencies only. If you need to air up your tires frequently, buy a pancake air compressor that plugs into a standard 120 volt electrical outlet.

bro atf is automatic transmission fluid, you're supposed to use 75 90w gear oil for a ford ranger that is a manual.
i saw in manual of ford ranger , is the same oil for both transmision MERCOM V atf , its weir but is the true .

ATF. Gear oil is for the differentials. The 80s truck used gear oil. Check your manual.

@@danielhaynes7266 I’m sorry I meant to ask which part number to the lower intake gaskets. I went online and looked at Autozone s but there is one review that states that those don’t work for his ranger and it is the exact same year and model as mine. Thank you for your time! 👍🏼

How are your coil pack wires sequence from coil connector (driver side) 465 Passenger side) 123 I’m having misfire issues with no code faults I changed out coil pack spark plugs and new spark plug wires
463 passengers side 135 driver side Starting from firewall moving forward

Standard trans-mixer's don't have 'sticks', only automatics.
My 06 ranger had a valve break apart in cylinder #3 causing the problem. These 3.0 V6 have a TSB on this issue. Exhaust valve seating recession to be specific. Set me back a little over 1K.

Your Ranger must have been running rough and noisy if it had a valve break apart.
@@gregkraft7292 It was definitely rough running. I didn't even drive it until I got it fixed. Going back in the shop this week though, a few months later, to get the heads and valves replaced. Its at that point. Number 6 is now misfiring and loosing compression . They just put crappy heads from the factory.

Im thinking my intake is warped but it looks good. i even tried taking the gaskets out just to see and it still only lined up one side
I actually had to get a little fabrication going. Ended up drilling and widening the bolt hole and using RTV instead of the cheap rubber gaskets and got her to set on perfect.

The piston seal is plastic and wears out idk if can buy parts from harbor frieght or not.

I took it back and got a new one. Haven’t had a problem. The one I had before I bought that one I’ll probably have for about eight years

im in my 5th replacement gang i dnt like them they dnt last i had 2 burn out the fuses melt. those people at the freight see me so much they call me “ what u did to this pump man” this is why i winded up in these comments cause i was looking to see if im the only one having these issues
The one I got now kept poppin the fuses. I just ran to take jumper wire in between both. Now I don’t have that problem anymore. Seems like the older ones were a lot better. They just make everything so cheap nowadays.
You damaged it because you didn't turn it on first after you turn it on then you hook it up to the valve stim and turn on your car engine so it won't drain your battery that also will damage the compressor. Mine is 4 years old and it works great 👍 l love 💞 that little bugger.
