The Culvert Trail is one of the crown jewels of the Auburn State Recreation Area. It's mostly a flow trail with some technical rock sections and fun line choices. It's a favorite game of the locals to do "no pedal" races from the top of the trail to the road. See if you can pull it off!
The Hub Roseville Confluence Trail POV w/Heath Sherratt
มุมมอง 1.2K6 ปีที่แล้ว
This trail is part of the Mammoth Bar Enduro which is part of the California Enduro Series. Confluence is known for it's high speed sections mixed in with technical rock gardens and sheer cliffs as it follows along the American River from beginning to end.
That’s a fun ride I used to ride that trail a lot years ago with my friends from Auburn Bike Works
I have yet to hit that gap at the beginning of confluence. Next week I will do it for sure.
FATRAC. Please 100x….. help widen the trail in confluence trail so sketchy near the edge. Thank you
These are incredible. Please, more!
Would love to see more of these videos featuring local rides. Keep up the good work!
Who the hell do you think you are coming into my back yard and threaten the peace and tranquility of the area we locals hike and ride our horses. You are encouraging people to ride on single track trails that bike are banned from obvious safety issues. The bike people are verbally and physically abusive to both hikers and equestrians. You do not have the right of way and at the very least should be yielding to hikers and horses who have the right of way. We will not be pushed of the trails by bikes go back to where you came from
Horse people on culvert could you imagine it
Don’t start with your BS every trail he rode in this video is for bikes . You guys already have enough trails that are only horse and walking STOP trying to take away all the MTB trails
Rad buddy!
Sir how much time did u get the confluence trail, 2 minutes? U so fast😱
Ive normally seen most riders do this section the opposite way. Are all the trails up here two way traffic? And is there a more common direction on some of the trails? I hike these trails a lot and am going to get back into mountain biking so I would like to keep with common flow if possible.
Man, this guy's flying through these trails - they don't seem that fast when I'm riding them, haha. That confluence road gap is pretty intimidating...
Any news on rebuilding culvert?
I believe FATRAC is on it.
It's in process. Some berms and little stuff built back in. The top half of Confluence is basically fire road though.
Wow that rockys run was insane 😂
You're an animal, you didn't even stop at fuel break for a little break. Keep it up!
Great video! Really enjoyed the POV while climbing to get. Good view of the trail. Looking forward to watching more.
Hidden falls trail guide? Thanks for the content, good stuff
Just moved to Roseville. Did Clementine Repeats today. Any ideal climbs ideal for hill repeats?
Awesome! Have hiked this trail and getting (back) into mtbing. New sub from Rancho here. Thanks!
Man, you are fast ! I could never do stonewall and rocky at that speed
Thanks Eric! Just baby steps man....go at your speed until you know the trail and as you feel comfortable the speed just starts coming. Force it...and the hospital is sure to follow. Just go slow until you feel smooth and being smooth will make you fast. Keep riding and keep the rubber side down!
Very cool! 🔥👊🏼🔥
Thank you. Any suggestions as to how to make our videos better?
Great videos! Really appreciate the details and riding. Thank you.
Thanks for the feedback David, so glad you enjoy them! Please share and like for us!
Do you have any suggestions to make our videos better in the future?
Any notes on mammoth enduro coming up?
What type of notes would you like specifically?
Fast bro!!😎👊
Amazing video! make me realize just how slow im going lol Do people ever not get out of the way tho? lol
Hey James, thanks so much, we are so glad you love our video! We are always attempting to be courteous on the trail and make sure we are looking out for others at all times. It's great when they see or hear you coming and hop out of the way though! Have you checked out our other videos?
This video couldn’t come at a better time man! Thanks for putting this together. Good info for tomorrow’s ride. 🍺
Yay! Stoked we had this in time for you Dan. Hope it was helpful!
great video! very useful guide of these trails
Thanks Tom!
Very helpful series, thanks for putting this together. It is really useful for a newcomer to the area to get the details about where the trailheads are, where to park/shuttle, etc. And I can use your POV footage and narration to decide which ones are suitable for an aggressive hardtail (my ride). Surprised there weren't any motos out there that day!
That is great feedback. Thank you and I am so glad you find this helpful! Please share and subscribe for more episodes!

We are also developing the website. This all takes time and money and we are doing this as a project of love until we find some funding. Be patient, it is coming!
Fast and smooth! Great Video!
thanks Tony!
Dude! Are you OK?? I've never seen you bail like that before. Damn, that makes me cringe...
Stitches in the elbow. Ripped it open pretty good. It's mostly healed now. Back is sore too. Need to see the chiro!
Man that same thing happened to me just down the trail! Hate when the wheel climbs out!
The worst! Did you get any stitches?
Heath Sherratt no got lucky. Ripped right through my elbow pads too!
Smooth riding. Looks fun!
Thanks Tim, it is a blast! Like your own personal rollercoaster!
