Thank God for this video. Whoever put this out, I hope millions of dollars befall you.
Maggot Brain album, according to Rolling Stone Magazine was deemed to be in the top 50 rock albums of all time.❤❤
I met Garry Shider at the 930 Club in DC. I've never seen so many whites enjoying The Funk. No violence. It was an unforgettable event - backstage view. My homeboy, Tony Thomas, on drums. Let's get it!!!!!
I listen to P-Funk at least 4-5 times a week during work outs it gets you hyped up Them Drums, guitars, bass and vocals keep you in the pocket on the one. The P-Funk Opera top notch musician all around. Just listen to Bernie on that Moog and keys.
The Motor Booty Affair Tour. I describe them as a hardcore funk rock band with jazz sensibilities. Shame that this was their last tour of this magnitude as Parliament Funkadelic. Grateful that I saw this at Madison Square Garden.

Wow. all the voices are so good. Gary Shider is just phenomenal. And who is that singing super low?

The totally under rated music monster george cliton seem to find the best of the best musicians and mesh them to perfection
Groove master !❤
Sang it Sting Ray!

Why do all these video’s end with dr. Funkenstein standing on the platform? One of the coolest walks ever took place coming down the mothership stairs to the tune of dr. Funkenstein.

Ii was 17 😮😊
Good music
rap in its infancy.
Hey guys, it's August 29, 2024 and I'm over here grooving to one of my favorite funk groups of all time. These boys are truly the bad boys of FUNK!! For me it is you and James Brown. Y'all have the signature of funk established, and nobody can take it away from you.I' ll always Love you guys❤❤❤
And never will
Wish I could go back to this night! I miss my cousin Beta17(keys) RIP!
Their live performances mostly are always better than the actual studio album recordings. Seems like they can freelance a little more and emphasize certain portions of the song especially the BASS , it makes the songs a little longer but way better .
❤ rip to all funketeers nolonger with us rest in heavenly peace
I can hear my mother call❤❤😢😢
That was funky. I've discovered this song by P-Funk, I love it ❤❤
This is exactly how I thought Guitar Solos should’ve sounded as a child, This whole song leaves the listener completely full. Vocals, Bass, Guitar all of it are perfect. I would kill to be 20 in 79’ instead of now!
Check out Frank Zappa, Tom G Warrior (Celtic Frost era), Rory Gallagher, Jeff Beck to start with. Live for now...
I'm 56, and I still listen to these cats two-four times a week. Respect. ❤❤❤❤
Damn! Mike Hampton is on fire here
Wow! I saw these guys in Charlotte, N.C. in 1976; and, they were “Outa This World”!
I can only see Garry and Skeet on the axes... Are we a flash light on guitars ?!!
Garry Shider is the Funk🤜🏾🤜🏾🤜🏾🤜🏾
