Parenting Plans and Holidays
Parenting plans should include a regular schedule when the children will be with each parent as well as a schedule for holidays, school breaks, and vacations. It helps to be specific with holidays to be clear who has the children each year and to avoid any misunderstandings about when the holiday begins and ends.

When you are involved in a custody case in family court, you should always communicate to the court from the perspective of what is best for your children and not necessarily from your perspective. Small changes in your communication can result in a big differences in outcomes. It not only helps to be speaking the judge’s language, but it can also lead to a positive change in your mindset.

If people are confused on what joint or sole decision means, wait till you tell them about joint legal decision with final say lol
I had a judge once ask what the difference was while practically screaming.
@LarsonLawOffice that's crazy, especially since it seems to be a judge's preferred ruling when it comes to dealing with high conflict coparenting cases

You should do a video regarding child support and disabilities. Im a disabled veteran and recieve a check each month from the VA. I also work a full time job. Actually been in a courtroom where even the judge wasn't certain whether or not he could consider my disability, which is protected, as a form of income when determining the child support amount.
When it comes to laying a foundation, is it a requirement of the family court that the recording is certified? Meaning that a 3rd party reviews the audio to ensure it hasnt been edited and that the voices belong to the alleged parties?
Thank you!
Great 🥰🥰🥰
In Michigan those are called "implied stop signs". Same concepts, leaving a parking lot or a drive way you must stop.
.04 for the driver of a public transportation company is great.
Thanks for the information. Here's a quick summary: #1 Guidelines regarding Chickens #2 Guidelines for selling street food prepared at home. Licensing required. #3 DUI for .04 for Ride Share drivers #4 "Tailor Swift Law" Makes it illegal to automate buying all the tickets to an event, then reselling for more. #5 Pluto is the official planet of Arizona - "That's messed up"
For more riches and control, divorce lawyers and judges willfully violate the human rights of children to be raised by both of their parents, the Constitution's Equal Protection Clause. Judges willfully violate US Supreme Court rulings Troxel 2000 and Boerne v. Flores 1997 which require 'Least Restrictive' interference and 'Only to Prevent Harm'!
Congratulations. Since mid 2024, google search is promoting mostly lawyer videos like yours and very few non lawyer videos anymore. You need to put law office in your channel name. Without a shared parenting rebuttable presumption law (now in 5 states, not Arizona), for decades the judges continue doing whatever benefits the extreme enrichment of lawyers and alienation of children from their fathers to give government more control.
I have geographical restrictions in my orders. Neither parent is allowed to move the children outside of 100 miles or maricopa county. I live in Glendale and the mother lives in Gilbert, it's about as far apart as the court is comfortable allowing with child visitation being week on/ week off. Thank you for this educational video!
Yeah, that’s definitely pushing the limit for distance between two parents sharing equal parenting time.
That’s about as far away as you can get and still share equal parenting time.
It should go on who has custody if they have 50 to 50 Custody they should both be able to and then who has the most time in custody should claim taxes
That’s a common opinion. However, the way the law looks at it is that if you are paying your child support, then you are doing your part to support the child. So if a mother has a child 80% of the time and a father has 20% but also pays child support to mother, the law considers both parents to be doing their part in supporting the child.
@@LarsonLawOffice so who gets the taxes when it's an 80 to 20 split of custody
Thank you for this educational video! Can you do a separate video on what family courts factor into their rulings regarding whats best for the children and how parenting time is decided?
That’s a big topic but one I should get started on. It will probably need to be a series of videos.
I enjoyed the video but it’s not fair to non custodial parents who work the overtime to make up for wages being garnished from their check and to pay bills. Taking more money away from them makes them have to work longer hours or a second job to make up more money as well as take away time from the child(ren). What do you suggest someone in that position do? I’m in Alabama btw
I’m glad you liked the video. I don’t know about Alabama, but here in Arizona, if somebody had to pay child support and then started working some overtime shifts or a side job, then that extra money would not cause child support to increase. It’s actually a good way to make up a budget deficit caused when child support is ordered.
If overtime is not available, then doing some extra work like Uber or delivery could be a good way to earn a little extra without simultaneously increasing child support. However, you should check your state rules to be sure.
@@LarsonLawOffice I appreciate you taking the time to answer that. I’ve started a petition in Bama to try to get lawmakers to change that law. I pay well over $2000 a month and in order to support my kids and pay by bills it requires me as well as other non custodial parents doing that to make up the deficit. It also takes away time from kids because I work so much now I only see my kids every Sunday because I’m working 12+ hours daily. I guess my question to you is what is the next step after the petition to try to move forward with getting it to lawmakers
Thank you, it cleared things up a bit. I feel like I'm heading into this blindly so I appreciate this info 🤍
Glad it was helpful!
