เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 23 พ.ค. 2019
Functional safety is one of the key areas in many of the industries/domains like Nuclear power plant, Aerospace, Power industry, Medical and Automotive. The idea behind this channel is to talk about the safety aspects and share the knowledge we have gained working on the automotive safety standard. As we continue to learn, we will be adding safety topics from other domains also,

Faults In The ISO 26262
มุมมอง 3.3K3 ปีที่แล้ว
In this video, we talk about the types of faults one needs to know when it comes to ISO 26262. Faults covered include: Residual fault, Single point fault, Multi-point fault, Latent Fault
Hi is there a possibility of having one to one paid training?
Yes. We do offer individual trainings. Please get in touch with us at consult@drivvize.com

Thanks for sharing this stuff.
Thanks for the great explanation. To assess latent fault metric, do we need to use FTA? Since FMEA only considers single-point faults, right?
one of the finest video pure technical stuff with examples.
Super. want more videos on functional safety.
Thanks for the explanation of the faults in detail. This is really a good example to understand without confusion... Thanks
Thanks for the video Could you please share other parts too?
nice decomposition, thank you this has been helpful
Thank you so much for your detail explanation.
Please upload from 1st part sir.

Hello Nagesh, Soumya and Shridhar. Thank you this initiative. I intend to enter into functional safety domain, this video has resolved my doubt of process. As I was consuming content in bits in pieces. Can we connect over linked in?
sorry, can i get link of sawmya explained system architecture part?
Hi @sourabhverma1825, please check this link for the slides that contain the system architecture www.functionalsafetyfirst.com/2021/11/webinar-slides.html
Thank you Sawmya,Sheedhar and Nagesh...this is one of the best session I have attended..you guys are awesome in detailing and concept. I could connect and understand my exsiting technical concept with your session.
Thanks a lot for your feedback. You can always reach out to us via our gmail or linkedin.

Contents are clear and explanations are wonderful!
Explanation Is To the MARK....Please Post More Vid
Thank you so much for simple exp.
Nice explanation. Can you explain with example
could you please explain the difference between residual fault and single point fault? from the video they both are fault that not covered by safety mechanism
single point faults - do not have any safety measures to cover them, whereas residual faults can not be covered by the safety mechanism itself. The safety mechanism has a diagnostic coverage that can not be always 100% thus the residual risk.
