The slack in Burton SO was so that if there's snow and ice under boots it's still secure. Your fix might not work at all with any bit of snow and ice under the boots.

first of all. your are not using a burton boot. if its not burton it is going to be way loser in the binding. second of all, he is not cliped in all the way!

something tells me a thick foam pad isnt a fix just lifting a boot into the binding. it clearly shows stepping in becomes a little harder too. i think the material of the binding might be more of an issue that the X series solves if you needed tighter bindings.

What’s the fix? You never explained at all. Is it a different footbed on the binding? That’s all that I can tell but what about this footbed is different? Also, learn how to put on boots and tighten the boa properly those pressure points are going to suck.
