That was Scott and Marks dog 'BUBS' who sadly passed away very young to a rare type of cancer. Scott wrote a song about him called Bubs. You need to listen to that song. Its a real tear jerker.

I don't think anyone's ever ready for this performance, but if you've been familiarized with the mitch-slap you're not going to be blasted FULLY out of orbit by the mitch-PUNCH. ALso I was tickled by "they're gonna blow up the sound system at this place" bc (as I"m sure many people have told you lol) Avi absolutely DID bust the speakers, which is why the latter half of the song is extra fuzzy/buzzy

Is what sets Pentatonix apart from any other acapella band. There is not a genre they will not tackle and will not master. They can do an electronic and dance music, r&b and soul, gospel and country, pop and classical, even dabbling in a little heavy metal. I challenge home free to do a rap song!

Mitch identifies either gender. So you literally can't go wrong. When I first heard ptx, it was suggested to listen to hallelujah. And I was completely hooked on the Disturbed version so I wasn't even that interested in listening to another version. But I got bored one night and I listened to it. And that was all it took. It's like the heavens opened up and this amazing group came down from above, and Angel voice has the most beautiful voice of all. Keeping in mind again I wasn't watching the video, but I was listening to it with headphones. When I first heard Mitch's part I thought it was a woman. So my little brain was blown when I actually saw the video. But he's a rare contratenor, or countertenor. Many people mistake that with a falsetto. Scott & Kevin & matt when he joins the group, they all use their falsetto to hit high notes. And you can usually tell by their expressions because they're straining. Now compare that with Mitch hitting the high notes. Effortlessly with not one ounce of strain. And that's because it's his natural voice. As part of his natural range and that means he can go into the soprano range. This is somebody you can hit Celine Dion notes. He can hit whistle notes. And I'm convinced he can hit a note that only dogs can hear. Personally I would love to hear him and PTX cover Boston's More than a Feeling. Hearing Mitch hit the high notes did Brad delp used to hit would be amazing.

This was filmed in the Austrian Alps. It's my favourite rendition of this hymn. The singing, harmonies & scenery are just gorgeous and Adam Rupp (beatboxer) even sings a few lines! I know I am commenting a year late. Catching up on EVERYONE reacting to Pentatonix! I love watching these! Lion King came out when I was working from one of the Disney Stores in Oregon. Got to go see the Premier in our area. Had the Pleasure of going to Disneyland and see the Lion King Parade. There is no other parade like it. As for Pentatonix . . . There is and never will be any other group like them. They are a One Of A Kind blend of voices and talent! A Gift to us all!

I just found your channel a minute ago with S.O.S. I love not only your reactions but your comments as well. It seems as if you have a musical background and you explain so well the things that matter. I love your voice too and that you keep everything respectful. The keyboard player wrote this song and is the original band, A-Studio. Their original lead singer passed away several years prior. If you look up this song on YT and click on the version by A-Studio, you will see how Dimash made this song his own. The gentleman that stood up in the audience is Igor Krutoy, who at that time was a retired billionaire Russian composer. After this performance, he came out of retirement just to compose music for Dimash, and they work so beautifully together. I am looking forward to watching more of your reactions to Dimash. btw with most HF videos, you should NOT get a block, unless it is an older video under SME, before they left SME and self published....or the original holder of the cover blocks....they actually love their reactors and fully support the reactor scene. They also often leave comments.
