This reminds me of the plot synopsis to johnny pneumonic. It's interesting in a european/UK style.

The amount of quarters I spent on this one is incredible. But once you get to beat the game, a single quarter could draw a crowd around you.

I do believe that Dirk the daring wasn't carrying around a shield of defense.

I was a kid when this game came out. I can clearly remember watching people playing this game and I was in total amazement. We had never seen anything like this before. It was WAY ahead of it's time. I would sit at the Arcade for hours watching this game along with Mortal Combat! Man those were the days!

Not really gameplay...this is game when you "watch" the DVD instead of playing it.

The animation is an amalgam of bluth's works, even ones that didn't exist yet xD (beethoven's cat reminds me of banjo the woodpile cat's dad for some reason)
