Nice lake
hmmmmm,well....guess it worked?
Thanks for the videos! Only coverage of NPFL in Saginaw Bay I could find. I live in Bay City and got some good fishing ideas.
You’re welcome! I’ve got videos up from our last 3 years up there! Thank you for watching!
Hi o
Is this lake anna?
St. John’s River
@Masseyfishing oh thanks
Saludos buenísimo amigo 👍
Hello friend!
Is the retrieve there on the jig a drag or a full lifting and falling off the bottom?
This trip I was lifting it and letting it fall. They hit it on the fall most of the time.
@ awesome thanks for the reply
@@cliff1422you’re welcome! Always experiment with your retrieve. Sometimes a very slow crawl on the bottom is good, sometimes a small hop off the bottom, 6” or so. Always mix it up until the fish tell you what’s the preferred method that day.
Just sit right back in here a tale a tale of a fateful trip 😂 3 hours later she's not smiling😢 another hour later she never wants to see this guy again😅
Love the music it's sounds so peaceful😊😊
Stick Figure song. It’s the perfect music while on the water.
While fishing with your dad I asked how does he know what the bottom of the lake looks like? His answer was very astute. "It looks like the land above the shoreline." You have a good father. This trip looks like you had a good time.
Love your hook set. Giving them bitches the MAGNUM.
😂😂
Who how and why the fk is that a thing 😂😂😂
Oh ya, and I love it.
Yup 😊
Awesome sounds 😅😅
Wtf 😢
Lol. The title to this video is not kewl! 😮
Well it was a whipping that day for sure!! LOL
Matt - I would love to see you take Dad (Stan alias Toby Viapondo) along on one of these easy trips.
Hey Bill! Thanks for watching. I would like to get him out on the boat, his knees are getting real bad and its hard to fish without a sit down seat in the boat. Im going to be getting a new boat soon and I will have a seat for him to sit down and fish.
Hey bill! I sent you a message on messenger.
I have Mercury 5hp 4-stroke
What kind of top water bait was that?
It is a devils horse prop bait
What lake in Central Florida are you fishing on? I'm local here in Lakeland, FL.
Yale Lake
Fishing with Sal?

Teach me how to
Cool. I used to have a Hydra Sports Bass boat with a beefed-up 150 Suzuki Super-Six that would do 70mph. Awesome feeling. Its like flying
Soooooo Park a boat? Learned that when I was 8. Sorry. 12 when I got my Lic. Boaters cit. #teach. Good vid bro
Also 8.
🤯🤯🤯 text book!!
Thank you!
Anyone that can answer, I'd really appreciate it. Is this something you generally do with a baitcaster? I only have a spinning setup bc I'm pretty new to fishing, but I have managed some skips when I'm feeling really confident and have already gotten into the flow. I just know I can't be consistent that way. Can anyone let me know?
Thanks for watching! Skipping with a bait caster is not a quick learn. It took me a while to get to where I’m at now. Lots of back lashes and bent hooks while learning. I still backlash occasionally now. I throw a baitcaster more than a spinning set up because of the baits I’m using. A jig or vibrating jig requires a heavier rod and line in order to be more successful. I’m not saying you can’t throw those baits on a spinning setup, you’ll have a better success if you use a casting rod. I do however use a spinning rod set up when fishing a senko type bait around docks, wacky rig or Texas rig. I will usually use a 20-30 lb Seaguar braid mainline with a fluorocarbon 8-12lb leader. Practice, practice, practice and soon enough you’ll have no problem skipping under cover. A lot of guys leave behind the biggest fish around docks simply because they can’t get their bait to them.
@@Masseyfishing Good answer!
@@MrBassmaster72 thank you bro
Shit i cant even hook it if i get a bite
Not sure what I'm looking at here.
Dude sweet cast but I came for the fish.
Thanks, here’s the fish!! Not a giant but 4.5lber #bassfishinglife #fishing #bassfishing #shorts
I just don't understand how you skip with a baitcaster and not birds nest!
Oh I still birdnest occasionally. It takes a lot of practice and a reel that is tuned perfectly.
Yes
This is I N S A N E ❤
I never went fishing before 😢😢😢
You need to go!
Never too late!!
Nice
That was a textbook skip. Well done bud.
Jeez perfect man, nice catch 🤘
Thank you!
Yo are u navigating in a Coca-Cola drink lake? Wtf is that colour?
That’s tannic water here in Florida. It’s like ice tea
@@Masseyfishing ty for the info.
A lot of times colors like that in a lake are from all of the tannins in the wood !
Heard about this on the Nextdoor app last night, sucks
Nice
When a friendly passing fellow boater waves hello, wave back, you rude, redneck jerk.
Is that a shallow water crank bait
I was throwing a 1/2 oz strike king red eye shad. It was in the baby carp color.
awesome video what rod and reel do you use for the a-rig?
I use a 7’ 11” heavy action with a Daiwa Lexa 6.3:1 reel. I throw Seaguar Invizx 20 fluorocarbon. Big rod with a long handle helps to cast it all day. I use the handle against my side for leverage when casting, saves your shoulders! Thanks for watching! Let me know if you have any other questions!
Nice Logan sack!
Great adjustment 👍👍
Thank you!
Definitely Day 2 was much better. Did you pre-fish docks or did you decide to stay with them, because you caught a few off of them?
I fished a lot of docks in practice without success. The conditions set up for a dock bite on that second day. Lots of sun and that pushed a few fish up on those docks.
