Stiwdio Maelor is an artist in residence in north Wales, United Kingdom. Maelor was founded and is run by Dr Veronica Calarco. As well as residencies, Maelor runs projects and workshops. The videos on this channel are all made at Maelor.

Every story begins with a place ... and for this story, the place is Maelor.
Julie Hagerty is an Irish author and English teacher living in Corris. She enjoys encouraging others to explore their stories through writing. She advocates for victims of domestic violence and has presented on this topic to educational and legal institutions including NKU and UC Law Schools, where her memoir, Choosing Eros, was added to the curriculum.
My time at Maelor enriched my life. It provided a quiet space in a beautiful location in which to write my memoir. I fell in love with Corris as a result and when I retired I returned to make it my permanent home.
