Fusion 360: Relieve / Shell 3D Face - FujiFilm XPro1 Hand Grip
A quick video on how I ended up shelling or releiving a 3D face. The goal was to create a pocket for vinyl leather to sit in on a XPro1 camera hand grip that I have been designing.
Question for the viewers (lol) is how to unfold the 3d face to be able to create a stencil of DXF for laser cutting.

Industar 22 / FED Lens Teardown and Zorki 4 Introduction
มุมมอง 6K3 ปีที่แล้ว
This video is aimed at illustrating the mechanical design of the Industar 22 lens as well as giving a brief introduction to the Zorki 4 rangefinder camera. Here I strip down the lens, quickly clean the lens elements, and grease the helicoid. The disassembly and assembly techniques should not be taken as best practice.

Nikonos III - Macro Film Counter Dial
มุมมอง 4233 ปีที่แล้ว
A quick video showcasing the neatest feature on the Nikonos III, the film counter dial and it's spinny indicator.
My nikonos III does not have this? Rather it has just a silver arrow. Not related but be VERY CAREFULL to not get any grease inside the little hole with the lever that resets the film counter, the dial will get severely messed up and rendered useless, will require disassembly. Learned this the hard way.
Just bought mine, looks stunningly built
I have that same Zorki 4 with russian txt on it (cycrllic) my one like that dosent work... but I have 2 other Zorki 4's
Good video which I will keep.....
It is a tessar design with 4 lenses in three groups.... The original triplet was designed by a guy from York England many years ago......
what a hack :(
interesting. Could one polish the lens elements by themselves?
You could... at the least you would remove the coating. This is not something you would want to free hand. Creating a tool would be required to keep the form of the lens. Pitch is a common material to make a lap from the lens itself. Check out th-cam.com/users/HuygensOptics for the process.
Will this lens fit a FED2?
Yup, both M39 / LTM mount.
Nice video. Many thanks for this very useful demo. In the video, at 13:31 your diagram states it's a "Cooke triplet", but the Cooke Triplet contains only three elements, not four as in the Industar-22. I'd love to see a similar breakdown of the Industar-10, since it's almost impossible to find a definitive diagram of the optical design, and there's some misinformation about where the lens aperture sits.
Informative and well made tear down! There is a huge interest in these old CCCP lenses all over the world. Checking out info about my FED10 lens was how I found your channel, so now you have an idea :) Keep them coming!
You have a good eye for details! It would make it even more interesting to have a view of the whole piece at the end.
Cool stuff is this adaptable to F Mount nikon As ?
Tons of LTM/M39 to F Mount adapters out there.
