Scorched Titanium is a thing of beauty and I have quite a bit of it on my Honda RC51/SP1 RVT 100RR motorcycle. The exhaust canisters are done this way. A tip on titanium fasteners is to apply a film of the copper anti-seize to the threads upon installation, just put some on a cotton swab for application, as a little goes a long way. The Ti bits look really great and moved the project up another notch .

Gene: Love the new gauges. Especially the way they tied the speed/rpm together with the mapping, land contours, etc. And you make it look so easy.

My understanding (could be wrong) of the idea behind replacing the oil filter housing is due to there being a spring valve in the bottom of the housing that is normally closed, but will open to ensure oil gets to the engine (bypassing the filter) during start up. Over time that spring weakens and stays cracked open, allowing unfiltered oil into the engine during normal operation. Side note: it’s crazy how much more involved a 718 oil change is to the 981😳.

Do you know locations of water pump fuses i was told thier are 2 one in intergrated module and the otherbinbfuse box ? What box

I have a 2010 987.2 Cayman S and I replaced the drain plug with a (quality product) ValvoMax oil change system (quick twist oil drain) thread size is M18 - 1.50. You would need to make an access hole in the underbody panel, unless you still want to remove it. If you want to make the removal of the underbody panel easier (long term) replace the bolts with studs (Loctite Blue) to the underbody and use some flanged nuts to hold the panel in place. If you can find the necessary parts the oil filter could be relocated to a place that's easier to access. I have an LN Engineering filter adaptor in my Cayman and you'd need to know if that could be installed in your application. This would require an additional adapter to run AN fittings and hoses out to the remote filter assembly. The factory oil canister will embrittle due to heat cycling over time and if there's any chance that it cracks, the oil will be pumped out of the system in seconds. Hope this helps and any of this may make this easier in the long run for you, best 🙏🙏🙏.

Amazing job! Looks great and a nice video, thank you for making this. As a detailer, I prefer a manual last polishing step for the metal. Just use a microfiber towel and a really fine polishing product like poorboys. For the rest keep it up 👍🏼👌🏼

Looks good and it should cool the intake charge better than the OEM part. I don't know if you already have the 3rd (center) radiator installed in your GTS, but if you don't then adding one will help with the water to air intercooling.

How many miles the car has

The blue Tartan Plaid seats are awesome along with the shift boot and engine cover. I think the seats are made by Lear for Porsche to their specifications and I have the 14 way heated seats in the 2010 987.2 Cayman S. Tell Matt not to worry about the bald spot, as mine is quite a bit larger 🙄😆. That was a nice tutorial for removing the center section of the seats and he did a great job on yours too.
