Cool! I have a couple pictures of the Leonard M towing the CSL Assininaboin out of Thunder Bay about 5 years ago I think it was. We assisted it in then out of the the Thunder Bay drydock as it didn't fit, then few days later we towed out into the harbour where the Leonard M took over the tow to take it elsewhere. She is quite the tug.

I don't know what the big deal is.I work for a tug company up north,past the arctic circle and we have been doing that since i joined the company 15 years ago.We did that in hudsons bay also

Though I only have had the opportunity to meet and work with a few of the folks with McKeil Marine, this certainly expresses exactly who I thought they were (are) ! hey sweet they showed the tug that was originaly named the Foundation Vibert, its the "modern" sister tug to the one my grampa use to own. the ex foundation (later named point) vibert was built in 1961, while the one my grampa owned was built in 1958 and named the Point Valour. you guys are awsome!

As a carpenter - save that wood!! Gotta believe its second life for a tree. And on another note - the mechanics that service those hydraulic pumps, servicing machines like that, Its like working on a transformer , superhero in a way - but in the real world !
