How are you comparing a top 6 metro in a state with 11 million plus people to Greenville, SC. That’s not even a fair comparison. GA is the 8th most populous state in US and the GDP coming out of Atlanta let alone GA is on another stratosphere in comparison to SC. This is no shade to SC, it has its own strong points but they are in two different worlds.

Id like to add to the pros of elberton is there's good people churches that will help if you need assistance with financial support on the the down side there's a lot of homeless an vacant buildings that could be turned into shelters but it's a shame those with the funds want do what they could and change the homeless situation I'm in that situation so I I know if they'd only let the Spirit and their hearts be opened it would change the town 😔 to the good Lord knows I'm speaking the truth 🙏 thanks Tommy

I have been in Braselton for four years. I agree the cultural diversity is limited.. but slowly getting better. I love that my community in particular is a golf cart community. This was and may still be statistically one of the safest cities to live in Georgia. Home price was not bad when we purchased, but of course not so much now. Braselton has a bougie feel without extravagant prices…. comparatively speaking.

Your information is good, not Great. As a born "here", currently lives"here," moved & lived in many other States Individual.. "I am Lorax and speak for the trees" .A lot of of people fail to do the one thing, that is needed to obtain information about the neighborhoods and life style of long time residents that make this the Community, that everyone talks about in their blogs, channels and other media. Unless there is a connection from the grass root folk to those of you that advocate for Athens, the main point of living here,visiting here and moving here will be overlooked. There are good & bad people & places everywhere, so those people that experienced either in Athens, "keep living". Life will bring each, regardless of what city you reside. However; if you sit and talk to a Life long Athenian, A transitioned person and a UGA student, each of their stories will be a different reason as to why we stayed, (as locals) what brought others here, (to live) and the final one, Why do people not leave Athens?.. Because you point out a lot of great reasons, but there is a Story in the folds of this Great City, talk to a long time local resident and let the Trees speak every now & then. But THANKS for representing Athens and you are doing a FABULOUS job!

Your video points to Greenville SC....but you veer off to Simpsonville, Mauldin, and Greer which are NOT in Greenville...they are several miles away from Greenville. You also fail to mention any of the negative points which are.......crushing traffic problems, inflated real estate prices, and rising property taxes. In other words, all of the problems that afflict every other community in the universe. The infrastructure of Greenville as to roadways is atrocious and gets worse by the day....potholes are not repaired, too few roads for the traffic flow, and so on. Face it, the only time you'll find the Emerald City is in the movie.

My husband and I are looking at homes in this area.. I have lived in Clarksville, Tennessee most of my life and no I was not born here.. Clarksville traffic is awful but new jobs are moving to this area and this is home to 101st screaming eagles, but I'm looking bcuz we do have a business and I'm still tryna figure out how this will work out

I went to visit family there and enjoyed it. I am definitely considering Greenville as a potential place to move to from the Boston area, where it's very expensive.

What I like about the Greenville metro area is that the surrounding villages are making a conscientious effort to keep their towns livable with the future growth expansion. If you ever been in the southern part of Florida, Miami/Dade, Broward and West Palm Beach counties, most towns are more concerned to increase their populations to the hilt to build the biggest tax revenue possible. They don't give a shit about the quality of life in Florida. I'm moving to Greenville for a better quality of life and the southern hospitality that the south is known for. I moved to Florida originally because I had to move away from the Chicago area in 2013 because the future where I lived look bleak and it has only gotten worse there. I see the same future for Florida. Florida has hit the wall. They will keep adding more people in Florida because they only care about the tax revenue.

I'm moving to Greenville this summer or early fall. This video is very informative. The other towns look nice too. Downtown Greenville must be the biggest secret in the world and that Swamp Rabbit Trail looks like a wonderful pace to exercise. This area was made for iiving.
