Long time .. your right. There has to be something left in that setup. I did on 6s/2000kv/4316(hi rake) prop 61mph. I'll try 8s this comming season also. No clue if its really worth it, just have to find out... I found inner tabs bit up worked best for me. Your runs "like on rails" so stable unlike mine (wiggles more)... Guess maybe it still runs bit wet... Easy to test though. We'll see where you end up. If i find something interesting i will share that with you. My season hasn't begun yet.

Nice work and boat is running great! Absolutely zip tie your water cooling lines, all of them.

The struts on my boat are set at about 1/8" above the back ride pad using a straight edge. So there is a 1/8" gap between the straight edge and the bottom tip of the strut. Only measure off the rear ride pad. I am running stock props that I thinned sharpened and balanced. I have the OSE dual pickup rudder. Running two 5200Mah 120 C batteries last weekend at the lake she hit 80 mph. Not much run time on 5200 batteries. My temps are good with this setup.

Hi there. In my opinion, from what I can see and hear, while the boat is too far away from camera, is that the hull is running too wet, too much drag! Two options, batteries backwards or the powertrims upwards. ABC props also have less lift, good punch and also less amp draw...

What batteries were you using nad what prop size?

I am gessing boat runs to wet and therefore your rpm is to low ?(very hard to tell offcourse from a video). My thoughts were, a 1650kv on 8s should be like 2200kv on 6s and it should scream and i don't think i hear that. I ran with my newest (geico)4316 prop 61mph on 6s, no isseus with heat and good runtime. So i figure there should be more in it .. also put bigger esc in mine now, but haven't tested it. 3 week ago was 32 degrees and walked in shorts, now it rains almost every day and its 9 degrees...

Just tested a high rake (4316) zelos prop. Certainly fastest of my props so far considering other was almost 47mm. Also got my bigger esc, so got a point from were i can test...
