    Who thinks that on/off switch is a good idea? I wanted to buy this but not with a switch like that. DANGEROUS!

    Ryobi also makes a small fan like this. I took it apart and inside there is a 120V wall adapter like you might use to charge a cordless phone. The adapter converts the 120VAC to 18VDC. Yours might be the same. If it is, maybe you can change the 120V - 18VDC adapter for a 230VAC - 18VDC adapter. Good luck!

    bought 1 today ,i have never been so disappointed in an angle grinder ever .It is useless .Brush less ,full battery but on even light cuts it stops out.I could only seem to cut or graze the metal or it would stop if you put an amount of force on it.It also jams easy .I wonder how good the cheaper non brush less is..I havnt tried grinding with it yet though.But after seeing how weak it handled small cuts and kept tripping its over load ,i i am not going to get my hopes up..absolute rubbish for $200 AUD

    *Wow!>>>**t.co/rpvxNDRSng** it powered through the log like a warm knife through butter. Wood chips were coming out so fast they were stinging my leg. This saw cuts a normal 12 hour job to 3 hours. It's probably better for you if you work with large wood. Buy a smaller saw if you cut 15-inch logs or smaller - otherwise you will be paying a lot of money for power you don't need. Also, it seems to use a lot less gas, although I'll admit I was using a new saw with a razor-sharp blade and Husqvarna gas - which seems to have a lot more punch to it.*

    • @OrionBurdick

      You should actually get a much smoother, nicer finish with a sprayer than with a brush and roller. Assuming you use the right tip and technique. Especially if you use the Graco FFLP (Fine Finish Low Pressure) tips.

    Hey could you do a video non stop or cutting roofing metal through the whole 5 amp battery? My current non brushless and 4 amp combo over heats the battery and shuts down through long constant use. So I'm wandering if the brushless does the same. I know my brushless chainsaw does some on my p108 batteries that are a year or so old. The newer p108 with the cross hatched electrical contacts on the top do a little better but I think that's just because they're newer batteries. Any help verifying would be great. Thanks!

  • @naturestrail2296
    @naturestrail2296 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    I love the new on off switch design. Using any good power tool is dangerous. But to me I can keep a much better grip on the tool not having to worry about holding a trigger down. I've almost cut myself a few times needing to use my current one in odd positions and trying to push that lever down loosening my grip. Wish they'd had this one when I bought mine. Plus the old style triggers are heck on my carpal tunnel.

      Most corded grinders I have used over the years had the new switch...I never had a problem with it.

    • @naturestrail2296
      @naturestrail2296 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Eyellgeteven yea by new I meant new model 18v ryobi. I have a corded one with that style switch that was my grandpa's and 50 years old. Either way I think it's kinda nice to not have to hold a button but I admit it'd be safer to have a choice between the two and only use it locked when needed.

    Man the only reason I won't buy this grinder is because instead of improving it they make it worse ... I mean yes they made a brushless 18v grinder but they added a on/off switch instead of a finger trigger .... It's very dangerous to use this on/off switch on any grinder... One kick back for a person that is a beginner on using grinders and that's it no way for it to stop..... It's just gonna disfigure his body but with a finger trigger if it does manages to get away from ur hands it will eventually stop on its own .......

    • @naturestrail2296
      @naturestrail2296 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I much prefer the new switch. To me it makes it easier to concentrate on holding the tool instead of the switch especially in odd positions. Plus the old trigger style is hard on carpal tunnel. If you always use one straight up and down and in short bursts I guess the trigger might be convenient but I cut sheet metal and other things with mine so I like it to stay on in odd positions. I think it all depends on what you're doing as which is safer. Even the trigger keeps a lot of rotational Force when released. I wish they'd had this style when I got mine.

    • @linky13111
      @linky13111 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Brandon Bailey I completely agree with you bud ..... and yes the reason why I said I liked the old trigger is because I do carbon pipe fabrication and to be honest you really don’t just hold the trigger and grind all the time .. you can but that means you don’t trust what your doing so burst is the way to go for me .....

    • @floweringo
      @floweringo 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would never buy a grinder with a finger trigger... 125mm engel grinders are ment to be held by one hand

    • @axtra92
      @axtra92 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thats switch is a great upgrade.. dont use a grinder if you cant handle it..

    • @linky13111
      @linky13111 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      axtra92 trigger is the way to go buddy ... I don’t understand why people be complaining about having to hold the trigger down.... it’s the way to go on tight spaces ..... smh... .... look at 2:35 .... and pause the video .. his already holding the grinder by where the trigger will probably be positioned .... if you can’t squeeze about 1/8 of a oz of force with your hand then you my friend shouldn’t be handling a grinder... where’s the logic to use a constant spinning grinder on a tight space .... people this days ..... go to a construction site and if they catch you with a button grinder your probably gonna get run off and laughed at while they walk you to the gate .......
