@CopycatRecipeReviews yes ,and when I cook frozen rolls on air fry program, on the bake tray the on the screen it is written add food
Your Videos are great. Can you please make a video where you make an apple cake or other bakery on a baking pan without water
Apple cake or Apple pie?
@@CopycatRecipeReviews apple pie
Here's a recipe for you to try. Your Naan's unfortunately do not look right, but we all start at the beginning. 1 teaspoon sugar 120ml (0.5 cup) warm water 10g active dry yeast, (2 1/4 teaspoons) 281g (2.25 cups) all-purpose flour 120ml (0.5 cup) plain yogurt 1 teaspoon salt 1 tablespoon oil 1 some oil, for greasing 3 tablespoons melted butter, or ghee Activate Yeast. In a small bowl, add the sugar, warm water, and yeast together. Stir to combine well. The yeast should be activated when it becomes foamy, about 10 minutes. Transfer the flour to a flat surface and make a well in the middle. Making Naan Dough. Add the yeast mixture, yogurt, salt, and oil, and knead the dough until the surface becomes smooth and shiny, about 10 minutes. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rise in a warm place (for example: beside the hob or warm oven). The dough should double in size in about 1 hour. Rolling Naan. Divide the dough into 8 equal portions. Roll the dough to an 8” (20 cm) circle using a rolling pin. Cooking Naan. Heat up the Ninja pan on high heat and lightly grease the surface with some oil to avoid the dough from sticking. Place the dough into the pan. When it puffs up and bubbles, and burnt spots appear, flip it over and cook the other side. Repeat the same until all the dough is done. Brush with melted butter, and serve warm. Happy cooking.😀
Wow, thanks for that. i really appreciate it and will try it in January because I've a list to get through but I will try it. Thanks again
GIVE UP! Go back and try to learn how to boil an egg!
You need to practice kneading me thinks😂
Yes, I sure.do.lol
What I would say is for the last few minutes, pull, drain and flip the chicken. That will prob take care of it all. Still. It looks amazing!
Thank you, and you're probably right
Would love to see you do a full English fry up, also jerk chicken would be nice
Actually that's a good idea 💡 I will do that thank for the idea
your videos are great... we all make mistakes cooking/backing using new equipment...keep up the good work Superman
😂 thanks for your kind words
As you can see I literally don't know what I'm doing have the time and i only found out the other day what Proving bread was lol still learning 😅
What did that poor dough do to you to encourage you to throw it like that? 😂😂
😂
I was angry and didn't realise the camera was still on 😆 whoops 😬
Looks good to me, I would be ecstatic if I had made any one of them! When something I've cooked isn't great I add garlic butter, makes everything taste better 🤣
Yep, I but Garlic Butter on some horrible cereal once, and it made it much better 😆
I believe the egg whites were not as stiff as they should be and you were to fold the wet mixture into the egg whites... a bity at a time so as not to deflate the whites
Ohhh ok
I whisked them for ages, but could it be my whisk was powerful enough because it's a cheap cordless and didn't feel it was doing the job but I could be wrong
I would love to see scotch eggs
Wow, I don't even know how to make the in general, but.....stay tuned, and I'll do it soon. I have a few things on my list, but I have it marked down. Plus, I love a good Scotch egg
Thanks for this receipe, can you try to make soft-boiled eggs please, I don’t find any receipes
Yes I'll do it in the next few days
I don’t mind sting ring 😂😂 just carry on being you
😂😆😂😂💍💍🔥
Your doing amazing Del ❤ keep it up
Thank you
I'd love to see you make bread in the ninja
Thank you, and I just made naan bread today and the video will be out tomorrow
But I did make a loaf of bread 2 days ago check out my videos. It came out amazing
th-cam.com/video/vV5-guWuW74/w-d-xo.html
Try combi cook combi crisp. The steam cooks the chicken and the air fry crisps up the skin. Should cook it in 15 minutes. Give that a try, and your chicken will be much juicier.
I think you're right. I'm still learning, and with people like yourself, leaving comments with good advice is very valuable to me, so thanks 😃
I will be making this using the combi crisp method❤
@leahr2002 let me know how it goes
Kneading dough: take the North part of the dough and fold it towards you about to the middle of the dough, then with the heel of your hand, push the fold away from you with some pressure. Turn the dough a quarter turn, fold the North portion towards you, push with heel of your hand. Keep turning and doing this until the dough feels smooth. After the first rise, you need to literally p*nch the dough with your f*st to release all of the air. Then shape it and put it into your pan or cooker. Let it rise again about 30 minutes. Bake. Side note: I didn't have asterisks in p*nch and f*st when I first tried commenting, and I guess YT didn't like the v*olence against the dough. When I thought I was going to be able to write YT a protest, I ended up reporting you. My apologies. Once they see that you are just baking bread, they will ignore my report. I thought I could type out my reason through the report feature. Nope. 🤷
Thank you for the advice. As you could see, I didn't know what I was doing, but despite that, it came out pretty good
@@CopycatRecipeReviews Yes, it did come out very good! I only posted because at the beginning of your video you asked for kneading tips. I was just trying to be supportive. ❤
@@MovieClipQueen no no no I really appreciate the advice most of what I was doing was guess work
That looks lovely
Me or the chicken
I like your style, honest apprehension, just subscribed 👍
Thanks so much for those kind words, and I try to be honest because that's what the channel about
@@CopycatRecipeReviews People like real successes and fails, it's how we all learn, keep it real, have a good Christmas
@evebeaumont you also have a great Christmas. BTW next week I'm gonna attempt to make a whole Christmas dinner in the combi 😅
I mean can I cook the raw chicken on the bake tray on the lower level without any water just with oil and spices .In other words can I use this device as an oven ?
Yes, the only reason I did it like that is because the recipe said I should, but if you just want to bake chicken from raw, you can. It's basically an oven like your cooker but faster.
@@CopycatRecipeReviews Thank you very much
Can I cook chichen same way on a the bake tray without pre preparation on sear function?
Yep. I recommend you do if for half an hour on 180c the book says 200c and other people say 190c but I like to make sure it's done properly inside and out.
Also you can cook a whole chicken on bake without water
Thank you. Keep the recipes coming. I'm new to the ninja combi and your reviews are very helpful
I'm new also lol I've only had it 3 weeks. My new video in a couple of hours is how to make homemade peri-peri chicken in the comb. Thanks for watching I really appreciate it
The video is very interesting, but I still can't understand because you told me before that I don't need water for baking
You don't only on combi bake and if you see that last part of this video you'll see there's no water. Watch my next video that will be up in a few hours I'll be baking chicken without water
@CopycatRecipeReviews ok ,thank you
Just purchased a ninja Combi and I have never succeeded in making bread so I will definitely give this a go.
The higher the protein in the bread the better . In the 🇬🇧 UK it tells you on the packet. Nice job matey 👍 Oh the wetter the better within reason. Kneading stretches and develops the gluten strands in the dough. The protein strands line up and this creates a gluten matrix in the bread which traps air and lets the bread rise...Hopefully you will make more and learn.... = more confidence ✔️.....don't butter it...Covering it will make it soggy .Where did you read that ..?
Kneading: fold the dough into the middle by half, then push the dough away from you with the heel of your hand with some pressure, then turn the dough a quarter turn, fold and repeat. Do this until dough feels smooth, about 5 to 10 minutes. After the first rise, literally with your fist, punch the dough down to release the air all over. Shape the dough into your pan or cooker, let rise again about half an hour. Then bake.
Looks good. Following watching your video I have it in the combi now using 3 cups chicken stock. The only sausages I had were skinless richmond so that's I've used
So how did it go ?
So on combi cook function I can also cook without pouring water in the combi pan ? But from what steam will appear ? In thr recipe book all recipes include water in the combi pan for steaming
Apart from saute , sear, grill, or airfryer every other function uses water. Are you in the US or UK because the US has slightly different functions
Oh and I forgot to mention reheat doesn't need water
@@CopycatRecipeReviews I am in Germany
I ordered Multi cooker from Amazon
@IvannaShnaider that's cool
Can I use chicken wings on the grill / air fry without a combi pan wih water
Yes 100% you can
I waana eat that right now, absolutely amazing!
Wait until you see my spaghetti bolognese method 2 out it a few days
I don't because sphagetti is not the right pasta for "Bolognaise". Imagine battered deep fried fish and pasta?
Thank you for experimenting and posting your work. Suggest you turn the chicken pieces about 2/3 of the way through to crisp the bottom side. Also suggest you put the dry coating mix in a bag and then shake the pieces to coat them; I've found this less messy and more effective. We are all experimenting with the Combi so sharing your results helps us all, thank you. 👍
Thanks for your advice 👍
Can I use " Air Fry " without water in the pan on the first level ?
Yes you can
Actually you probably should use the air fryer function on any level without water
@lvannaShnaider if you any other questions please feel free to ask
But in the manual book it is written that to use it without water for steaming is dangerous or should I use air fry on the second level on the bake tray with a door open to avoid ignition ?
If you're steaming or baking, yes, you must use water, but if you're only using the air fryer function, then no water
DFC
It looks delicious Derek 👍
Thanks mary
I would have used cheddar cheese, but that's just what I prefer
I've had it for a week. Why not choose the pizza option instead of the air fryer? It would be crispier for sure
You are obviously in the US. It's weird that here in the UK it's doesn't have the Pizza option on it. No idea why
You are obviously in the US. Here in the UK it doesn't have that option on it and I've no idea why
nice one been look for one for after Xmas sales roast dinner seems a great idea yum yum...and roasted poatos kinda guy so would prob took everything out butpoatos and airfyer them till golden brown..cheers for the idea
You're more then welcome and if there is anything you'd like me to do just let me know
You definitely could have added more stick at the end!!! I love watching you use the combi. I just got mine too so I understand the estimate of time and temperature
Thanks for the kind words. I'm next doing 2 different ways of cooking spaghetti bolognese then finally trying bread and hopefully after that fried chicken. If there is anything you'd like me to try please feel free to ask
I tried the roasted chicken in the combi cooker for 45 minutes at 400 degrees and it came out perfect.
Great
I've done it 350 degrees for 30 mins and I came out amazing
A breath of fresh air normal person. Much appreciated, good luck.k
Thanks alot mate
What is the make or brand of the electric whisk?
Shitarseelectrics.com
an electric beater like kitchenaid would be the best to get the air into the whites... I use a beater rather than a whisk when I am making whipped cream or merangues. But I do love your videos
@@kathymurach5125 i am getting an electric mixer but can't afford a kitchenaid atm so ill have to get a standard one. But thanks for all you're advise i appreciate it and any more will always be helpful
Looks good. Would love to see a video on spaghetti bolognese.
Funny you say that because it's my next video
Looks lovely
You need to get a chef's hat
