His son Julian beat a girl unconscious while she was giving him a ride in her car. She had to pull over because he was freaking out screaming because he was drunk. When she did he took the aluminum water canister and beat her across the face with it which broke her teeth and busted her jaw. She is permanently damaged. She sued him for $7000 because $4000 of it was because he refused to get his stuff out of her storage unit which she continue to pay for him $400 a month because he kept threatening her that if she didn’t he would say that She was trying to steal it. She did not want his stuff nor to pay for it she just wanted him to pay for her broken teeth and take ownership of his actions and then his mother stepped in and said sue her and make it look good so then you don’t have to pay the money back and so that’s what he did. He is a dangerous violent sexual predator he just hasn’t been caught yet. Because he is a brilliant liar. And that’s why the girl was so-called helping him anyway because he had lied about all the things that it happened to him and got her to feel sorry for him when it was all a lie. Basically all the things that he says are the things he did but he says that that happened to him but he is a narcissistic liar and so is his mother. He goes from woman to woman about 3 to 6 months at a time uses them and abuses them and then trashes them and their name to all their friends and the court system. He is a dangerous violent man so is his father actually he learned from him sorry to say that but it’s true

I'm studying now this piece and I think the main problem of this etude is quite clear: it's fucking hard to have a complete technical control of every note at that speed (it's should be faster than in the video as Scriabin wrote 84 = dotted crotchet which is crazy). If you still focused and worried to hit clearly every note you can't think about dynamics, rubato, strong bass and everything. And just when you think you really succeded in learning it...that's never enough!

As many times I have listened to this magnificent piece, I have never heard it with as many melodies being dissected out of it as clearly as this. What a true master!

I’ve watched this video numerous times hoping to be able to play this piece soon. No better interpretation of this piece exists.

Sometimes he says something interesting, but most of the time he`s just disarraging the student`s interpretation (95% of the teachers do the same). I guess when we criticize other musician, we must pay attention to the great line, how one part interact with each other and see if this makes sense. if we cut the piece, it becomes a frankenstein.

This teaching is really magnificent. He encapsulates, so simply and directly, what Scriabin was obviously striving for.

It's so interesting that I find all his technical insights make perfect sense and are inspiring even though his interpretation on an emotional level is the complete opposite of the way I relate to the piece. This has always been a deeply romantic piece to me.
