Exactly! And then whatever you can afford you need to practice with as much as possible and use this as a starting point to try and get a few paid gigs so you can upgrade your gear! 🔥

Very interesting question. I think maybe content creation is more future proof than just photography. With the move in AI I think by being in your own content having a personality or even filming a vlog will give you a more stable future. I think photography will always have a place in documenting but I think it could possibly fade away when it comes to marketing.

practice is key, if I saw someone with a new camera and someone with a well-used camera, and had to choose who'd have the better photos knowing nothing else about them I would choose the one with the well-used camera. As someone who's gone through 3 camera bodies during his hobby, it takes at least 1000 photos with a new kit to learn it even if it's a kit lens.

Hey hows it going! Sorry for the late reply. Yes this is the sony A7rIV. Really good for photos and pretty good at video too. I have only heard good things about the a7iii so it wouldnt be a bad shout! Ayeeee thanks mate! Appreciate it. That’s pretty much how I go about most of my photography work🤣 I find that the more I train my creative mind outside of the private shoots the better results I seem to get when I do have wing it 🤣 which just so happens to be 90% of the time!

Anyone trying this should look for a tilt shift lens if you're in the market for a lens. Old manual one's are cheap or a macro lens. The cool part about toy's being so small is that you can use big studio tactics with small bits, like a blue or green background using cardboard or construction paper so you can key the car out of frame or supercharge generative ai. The easiest lens to use that's super cheap for this is just a 50mm 1.8 Also you can use wires to position your toys. Dirtying up your frame and layering it, is the easiest way to sell the realism

Good stuff mate, but genuine question. Why are some photos so dark?
Cheers mate! As the shoot went on and the cloud and fog come in it did get pretty dark (the shoot went for about 2hrs), the iphone POV wont show this as itll automatically adjust as the video goes on. Also I wanted the dark moody photos which is why I also took them with the settings I did. Its just my style really.

Don't sleep on the remove tool! (found in the same section as the patch tool) It's basically like an AI remove brush which is super useful for quickly getting rid of smaller things and in my experience often performs better than generative fill
