Why watch shills buy subscribers and views...
A watch shill wants to appear as a legitimate reviewer. A watch reviewer wants to get the newest watch releases. The viewing audience wants to watch videos about the newest watch releases. Hense the watch shill will buy subscribers and buy views. The watch companies want to provide watches and pay for reviews to the watch channels with a high number of subscribers and views.
A watch shill will get a higher number of organic subscribers and views if they already have a high number of subscribers and views listed.
A watch channel with a high number of subscribers and views gets a lot more attention...

This SMAEL 8058 watch is good. The strap on this model is transparent or no colour. The strap discolours and yellows after while. I like the plastic caseback and lugs on this watch. I like that there are no sharp edges on this watch. water resistance 5 bar, solid bezel diameter 48 mm, diameter with crown 51 mm, strap width 20 mm, lug to lug 49 mm, dial face 32 mm, thickness 17 mm, length 53 mm....

Sorry although i loved the fact that you showed the watch in daylight, i can't like that video. That isn't called review. And you didn't show any functions. I was searching for a video to see how you make it display normal date on top instead of displaying all the days.
You might be able to google the owners manual... Hopefully that way you will be able to take your time to study the manual... I've googled watch manuals before with success...
@@syndicatedsatellite7288 Haha joke... I later found out that there are two versions of this synoke watch. Synoke 9021 and Synoke 9021b The second version has a normal (as normal can American month date format can be) day month date on top making it look more like the original timex expedition model. The other difference between them, is a bright blinding white led on 9021b versus the electroluminescent blue light of the 9021 To separate them the 9021 writes date on bottom left, while 9021b writes spl bottom left. To be honest i would prefer the normal date of 9021b with the electroluminescent light of 9021 but Chinese can't make anything right. @@nikossiotas I find that China makes so many models of watches that by the time a new model comes out they're already making the next model... They want to sell watches to collectors on volume and hope that people will continue to buy them... I can see how collectors can easily get confused with setting digital watches with so many new models out...

My friend that’s not a Benrus. That’s what’s known in the watch collecting community as a Mumbai special. The sellers scavenge parts largely from HMT watches and then they put a fake dial on. I see a lot of these with Oris dials. They probably never attempted to restore it. It’s a well-known scam. I’m glad you got your money back.

It was fun taking pictures and videos of the watch because of its green combination... I figure water got in through the crown years ago by someone and that is why it doesn't work... One can see evidence of that on the caseback cover...

@@syndicatedsatellite7288 I have bought three Smael watches and each forms condensation on the inside of the plastic lens when worn on cold mornings. They are crap. Especially with claims of 50m water resistance. Wearing them in fog would kill them.
Cronos and Ironwatch are brands from the Lugyou Factory. San Martin and Hruodland buy cases from them and in recent years, other factories. It is not just one factory makes many brands.
They are based out of Auckland, New Zealand. The watches are China made with cheap Japanese movements.

The 10 year service life is reliant upon Vostok lubricating the movement correctly from the factory. Which is not always the case. But otherwise for the money a great watch.
