SUPER LATE BUT congratulations!! Enjoy Unova! I actually also hunted Tepig earlier this year in preparation for my own journey. Haven’t played Gen 5 in years. Got the little guy after only ~930 resets. Not doing a full shiny team playthrough but I have some stops on my adventure😎 Will resume (or begin) that journey next year. Tepig in BW was the only shiny I have ever given up on, it took me around 20k encounters before I gave up. Maybe I should try again... it has my favorite shiny in all of pokemon

I’m a simple gal: I see tepig on a thumbnail, and I click. Didn’t play Gen 5 until I was an adult. Started my playthrough with oshawott. Saw the anime clip with tepig’s backstory and restarted with tepig. I dunno, there’s something about the underdog. 🥲
