Useful use for your tumble dryer fluf. I managed to get a fire going straight away.
I have added it to my fire kit.

Some updates to my survival bushcraft bag. It's interesting for me on survival of all sorts and you are always learning skills and even though you may not have equipment you can improvise. These saying runs truth. See it how you want The more you know the less you carry It's better having it and not needing it and not having it and needing it

I used a little ingenuity in constructing it. I had previously seen this in another video and I thought it would be good to try and test it. I had used it over the fire but the footage has been lost. Easily adjust your pot over the fire x1 pot x3 pieces of wood x1 para cord. I think you can also use natural material. Must try this x1 cut wood at the end to stop the cord from slipping x1 adjusta...

Great video mate, just subscribed from a fellow TH-camr 😉👍
Thanks for the sub! and the support
No bother at all mate, keep doing what you do 👍

Why not just put your char cloth on your stone? 1 strike and done. Easier on your stone. A pocket bellows are a great little tool for getting air into your fire material. Great job filming by yourself. Try landscape when filming. That was a good tip i got. Cheers from New Zealand 🌏🌏🌏🌿🌿🌿🥝🥝🥝🔥🔥🔥😎🤘💥💥💥
Thank you very much for the info.Ill look for the bellows. I appreciate it
The frontline XL need some fine-tuning i see. Anyway most important is to enjoy....
I agree with that comment. Many thanks
Sometimes, that is just how the day goes.
I agree and it was just as you said. Many thanks for your comment.
very nice... as well as functional... but most importantly ; simple... that's where true genius is always found ! bravo !
Many thanks and Simple and effective. It works really good.
Like the black colouring on the blade!
They are cool blades .
👌✨
Thank you
Very tasty
It certainly was.
👌🌟✨
Many thanks
Nothing better than just existing in nature. Sometimes you don't need to do much at all
I do agree with that. Many thanks.
Really good 👍
Many thanks John
My uncle showed me how to make these 40+ years ago. He called it a poachers fire. From what I recall, you have to be careful with them near trees, you can ignite the roots which can burn under ground for a long time. I was taught to line the interior with rocks which had the advantages of giving some protection to roots and heating up so you had an oven to use after the wood burned down.
Many thanks for letting us know about your experience and advise from your uncle. I appreciate it. I ensured there was no roots around but ill get some stones. Many thanks
Nice job. Nice little kit. ✌️👍
Thanks 👍
Hello Brian this spark my interest ❤
Good. Enjoy the learning. Put it to use.
Nice one mi mate 👍
Thanks Andy
👌✨💫🌟🌸
Many thanks
We must remember that true bushcraft skills take time and we should work on that and slow down. The equipment I had with me was Bushcraft/survival and I'm pritty sure that I could do that in a bad situation.
great practicing there
Yes it helps and thanks
Nice to just listen to the forest ocassionally which calms the inner man. Great kit. I guess it was the NI pack at its max lid hight? Nice.
Correct there Harry.
Evening mate, how much was the setup??. Looks like you had a good time 👍😎
Around 50 euros
Good video. Nice to be outdoors
Always
You are entitled to your opinion as am I and I find some wars much less honourable than others. War should not be celebrated.
I understand your comment. Im not celebrating wars. I'm remembering the fallen Thanks for your comment
Twas very moving Brian. Thank you.
My pleasure Harry.
Looks like exercise to me . pace yourself old boy
I need to. More exercise needed
Really nice effort Brian and drill putting kit to the test.
Yes and I think it works. More practice is always good.
that is a good setup
Many thanks and it was enjoyable
Simple setup and organising my practice and routing. Last light and First light is vitally important. Morning routing wake up and simple exercise to warm the body. A good start.
a skill i have never learned
If you get the chance just to get out in the wild. Look for signs that animals or people have ventured there.
got the job done nicely
Yes that is correct. It all worked well. Many thanks for your comment.
good to practice
Yes and good fun. Many thanks.
😂good video sir New sub here💪
Thanks for the sub! and thanks for your comment!!!
I have this one too, when it rains you do end up with some little puddles in the tent ... so maybe test it out in the rain first just in case. But the setup is really fast though!
I know what you mean.
wait a second...where is the meat? lol
My sentiments
This could be the start of an ASMR, and if nothing else it shows some basics on how to make camping enjoyable. A losing battle for me over the years 😂
Many thanks for your comment. Keep positive and enjoy your self.
Great spot for a bite
It certainly is. Relaxing also.
