If I’m being honest joining the military could be something you pay for because how much you will grow as a person but we’re so fortunate that they will even pay us to go.

You know this isint the true training it’s Basic Military Qualification anything after that is the same or more training then an average Navy God Damn Seal from America.... think about it in BMQ they have to have train to counter nuclear fallout... nuclear plus gas obviously they didint even talk about the stealth parts... in cadets as 15 I had to hide from other cadets with a chillies suit that I got handed several others also hid I mean.... cadets doing a god damn sweep and clear.... the drill is just... horrid now I left cadets at 16 it wasint for me but I with my fellow Canadians treat our soldiers you know if they go to Tim’s they literally cannot buy the drink because if someone else doesn’t pay the tims employees hand it over saying “oh don’t worry it’s free” well at least here in yellowknife I’m proud to say the least as a Canadian also if you ever want to know how horrible the Canadian forces were go see any German documentary made about the Canadians how they are branding as un-killable and if they lead a spearhead it’s as good as lost just go look for a little bit it’s quite amazing

My brother recently joined the military I believe he is still in weapons training

They learn how to use a fire extinguisher, fucking wow! I learned how to avoid the 7.62X39. I learned that when your enemy is on fire there are no fire extinguishers. On a good day our salvation army would kick your ass.

The willingness to blindly follow orders and wipe critical thinking from your brain while doing mild exercise and believing you're an Olympian athlete. The only requirements are don't ask difficult questions and do everything we tell you to do without question. If these men and women really cared about keeping Canadians safe and protecting their country they would be protecting us from our own government. You know the ones that monopolizes violence and use it willingly against innocent peaceful dissidents. Find me even one Canadian soldier who recognizes the crooks in Ottawa as treasonous criminals. Find me one who understands that almost all conflicts are created by governments and media. Not gonna find it. Our troops lack the true patriotism we see to the south and would be respected more in Canada if they stood up for Canadians, all Canadians, against criminal governments. These soldiers in this video are willing slaves who don't know history and have never read a law book. Nobody who loves freedom for themselves or for others signs up to kill people on behalf of governments. Only cowards do that. Wake up soldiers there's nothing virtuous about helping your government. Or do they have to bring over half of the middle east to live in your neighborhood before you understand that they do not have your best interest or ours in mind.

I am applying for the CAF. It doesn’t matter with the comparisons!! We should support eachother as neighbors and celebrate in the achievement of being that small percent who are able to serve our countries proudly and with confidence! It’s annoying the comparisons! Both are tough in their own ways even if they are a bit different!

Yes, yes, everyone's Basic is the toughest, eating only dirt and proud to eat that dirt after marching both ways uphill in the snow in blistering 135 degree heat barefoot in heavy boots with 400 lb rucks. We know. Yawn.
