With an overage is there a way to show the client the total price with my mark up? I think that most clients will reject an upgrade if they see our mark up included in their overage.

How would we handle this if the designer is using their own selection software and they won't put the information into JobTread?

I'm really excited to try this feature! I was digging for ways to streamline our processes and someone on the JT Pros FB Page asked if I knew this existed. YAY Job Tread... most responsive company ever!

Messaging in so many different places is confusing, it needs to be in one place. Ugh was hoping this might be a solution for use, but doesn't look like it will be. Please let me know if this gets changed in the future.

Can I remove the financing option? We don't want our clients using other financing options?

This looks extremely confusing and not intuitive for clients - wish it was set up like DesignFiles does their client selection, very Applesque.

What does "Is Billable" selection do if we're already selecting from the drop down? I haven't been selecting it and want to make sure I'm not creating syncing issues

Amazing interview. Love the discussion on pre-con / design service. You gave me an idea - when asked about it', we're simply going to address the elephant in the room head on and call it a "Price Check evaluation" .... Client "oh, what's that about"..... "Glad you asked, as part of our pre-con design services , we provide you with a price check so that you know what you're getting is in line with other builders"..... I genuinely feel like, we might as well address price, but not compete on it. So just say, yeah this is the cost to build the house, but what are you getting for that cost - need to always shift the conversation back to value. And if the price is too low, then you need the client to ask "what are we missing in this price."

So, as I add new calendar URL's will I need to add each new calendar each time?

Do we have to create a payment link everytime we send an invoice? When creating a payment link in QB I have to enter an amount and description. It seems I have to do that everytime.

Are you able to clock in and out if there is little to no service? We have poor reception in most of our service area. If you can't use the time clock offline, what do you recommend?

First update i'm not a fan of honestly. Not sure what problem it solves. Didn't tasks already have checklists? Additionally not a fan of the new list view especially on mobile. can't see task types without going landscape and scrolling to the side and can't see the color coding. hard to see what's happening at a glance and who's assigned to what. also can't click on names and jobs in the mobile list view it just opens the edit tab. The old list view had more functionality. Maybe it'll just take some getting used to, but first impressions are not good and I'm missing the old version

My client is in WA state and they often pay purchase tax on things from local retailers, that tax is recoverable later from the state. I just wanted to share so you could see that people in the US also have this issue. I am hoping that it will help with our reconciliation problems. Thank you

I am looking for resources for best practices for paying invoices on time and or paying invoices and making sure that we take advantage of any discounts. I have a client who is having problems with their process and they have paid some invoices more than once and they have missed many very attactive discounts and we want to make the process better and smoother.
