Her head looked big on the ultrasound. The first hospital should have shunted her. Her brain was being squished from the hydrocephalus.....the shunt allowed her brain to expand

Fletcher is a sweetie. I'll admit I was confused and concerned about her condition. But I love how happy she is during her treatment and recovery. I love her smiles and her happy wiggles.

I've seen other kids refused a shunt for WAY TOO LONG. I am going tobbe very honest and don't want you to be hurt by what I am saying but i want you to know it's the truth. They don't want to place a shunt in a baby they don't expect to survive. I've seen a baby on hospice due to a fatal genetic disease refused a shunt. So instead that baby was sent home and kept sedated. That mom never saw her baby smile or move or do ANYTHING. Had they placed the shunt that baby would still be on hospice but maybe he could have not needed sedation and been able to let his mama have some memories with him. I hope you keep fighting for that baby. She deserves every chance.

I don’t understand how they couldn’t detect anything wrong inutero. You could see the protruding forehead and miss shaped neck in the sonogram😢

File suit on the staff and drs that sent you guys home on hospice AFTER they inserted a shunt for pain control at the very LEAST! Prayer yes but we’re also able to comfort…

My friends daughter lived to 24 yrs She had a shunt since birth. Drs tried to install a larger one but didnt function. But they couldve saved this baby surely

What gets me why didn't the doctor tell you she had a tumor with her first MRI she's a beautiful baby and the Lord's hand is a upon her

Cancer treatment would ptoberly have bern too much from her frail body all the cancer drug's she wouldnt cope obviously the cancer treatmrnt was kinder for her and at least as she gets a toddler she will be nore able to cope eith intense chemotherapy and radiotherapy

Her Head,we All ,pretty much KNOW,that SWELLING around the Brain,is DEADLY! Why would previous Doctors Do NOTHING????? I told my Mothers Dr.,after i tricked my Mom into telling Me Dr.s name,i called that incompetent Dr.,and Told her over the phone as i lived a few Hours away,...That If She Did Not KNOW what she was Doing, in reference to my Moms Breast Cancer,then Please Remove Yourself as My Moms Dr. & give her case to Another Physician,as it was like a Year SFTER my Mom was first diagnosed, and her Dr. Had done Nothing .This was in the 1990s & I know it was risky to talk back to a Dr. & call their conduct into question,but They Did it,got Second Opinion &:their Daughter is Alive!!!❤❤❤❤

Holyyyyy,.....how awful that her diagnosis....😢....power of Prayer & God, Its Real !!!!! I'm Not A Bible Thumper, i have been in 2 ,seperate "Cults",& extracted Myself, grew up with Little to No Christian fellowship,& God ,stayed Away,from my home of 10 people. As an adult,Adult, babies,I NEEDED help,i prayed a lot,I tried a church with very struct practices, it was Awful. But,i kept praying,because I Needed Help, I had No help,No Husband,4 children.....I never stopped believing & having Hope! Their poor daughter!!!! Thank God for All his Blessings!!!

What wonderful news that Fletcher’s future is so hopeful! The doctors working on Fletcher at the beginning of her life shouldn’t be doctors!!! Their licenses should be taken away. They should have supported their patient and pointed you two to St. Jude. I was in a similar situation. I was in bed for 10 years because doctors weren’t caring enough to even order more extensive testing (maybe because insurance companies are telling doctors what to do). THINGS MUST CHANGE! NO ONE BELIEVES THE PATIENT ANYMORE!!! Just because pain can’t be seen, it doesn’t mean it’s not there.
