I want to see if the detector recognizes the frequency change in the menu.

It looks quite smooth to be a meteorite and doesn't seem to have many of the general caracteristics one would expect from a meteorite after falling through earths atmosphere at very high speeds. It reminds me of smooth black hematite which contains iron and is often mistaken for meteorites. It's a little deficuilt identitying a specimen on video. Since you first shared this video have you received additional information on the specimen? Anyhow, good luck on your find and keep on hunting.

Hi. Can you do the following test with both the machines? My concern is that the 600 in Multi mode it's not as capable as the 800 in finding very small gold nuggets or jewellery. So the test should be like this: get some very small and thin pieces of jewellery and gold nuggets if you have , and see at what size(of jewellery) and depth the 800 can go further then the 600. If it can. Thank you. Another test could be as it follows: with only the 800, get some small gold and compare the Gold mode with the Multi mode and see if the last one can detect smaller pieces than the Multi. Hi, you have to set the recovery speed in default Park 1 so it is the same on both detectors. The 800 recovery speed is lower in default Park1 than the 600. The higher the recovery speed the more depth loss.

Cool. Then its a V-Flex 705 right? I'v been told that machines after 2012, could only Use original Minelab coils.. But if you got your from New. Then I can by a Mars MD Tiger aswell :-D

from what year is your detector? before or after 2012?

I looked at them vids last night, and that made me think twice about buing the Minelab coils. All I need to know now, is the depth penatration on the Mars MD Tiger coil, if its good, I will by it next month. So im looking forward to the depth test vid ;-)
