When he refinanced that house I assumed my name would be added (married with kids at that point). I was at that closing and he didn’t put my name on that house. Now that we are in the final stages of finalizing our divorce I’m not entitled to 1/2 of the value of that house since my name isn’t on it and it’s rental property. I’m just entitled to 1/2 of what he mortgaged for that house. I’m ok with that because I know that there is something bigger and better out there for me. He’s has abused me financially and emotionally. It’s now over and thank you for reminding me of my blessings and new beginnings that are here and will continue to come my way. This post reminded me of a time as a very early 20's girl, I went an i tuitive reader. She merely had a deck of everyday playing cards.
