Generally, I don't comment much, but seeing all those negative comments it feels like I have to step in. I bought the vocal bundle on sale for around 100 EUR and it has already saved me days of VO editing in Pro Tools since. It just works, even breath removal does work, which is a first in my book anyway. You still have to know what you're doing and that's it. Hope you'll keep developing it further but it's been already great as is! Cheers for this great tool!
If I am using this on my podcast in Adobe Audition do I actually have to record the podcast into it in real time or can I just drag and drop the file into the dynasist window.
Hi, ich habe noch Probleme die Loudness zu steuern. Wenn ich das PlugIn im Default Mode benutze, werden meine Vocals gern zu laut. Ich benutze danach noch ein Vocals Mastering Plugin. Ich möchte also, dass es die Lautstärke ungefähr gleich macht, und nicht nur anhebt. Meine Tracks sind viel leiser, und das PlugIn zieht es zu sehr nach oben. Wie finde ich die richtige Lautstärke für mein Projekt, wenn + 32dB zu laut sind?

Für mich bewegen sich die Gain Punkte zu schnell, gibt es ein Tastaturkürzel für feinere Einstellungen. Ich könnte auch nicht die Punkte bei horizontalen oder vertikalen Bewegungen locken. In Kombination habe ich es so schwer empfunden die Ergebnisse meinen Bedürfnissen anzupassen.
Kann es auch sinnvoll für Interviews genutzt werden bzw. für mehrere Takes zum Angleichen, die verschieden laut ausgesteuert sind? Oder generell für Dokumentarfilme und Reportagen bzw. um die Interviews anzugleichen?

Is there a way to use that in Cubase ARA Mode and see the Audio Clips waveform Changes visually? Like I Print the changes in realtime?
I would prefer this updated waveform in the track view. Or some way to get the final automation out of the plugin and on to the track automation. Not sure if it's technically possible.
@ I know when you render your Audio Clip it gets printed so it has to be possible right? Maybe they add the Feature that you can see the Change with ara in realtime

Hi, höre von vielen Seiten wie gut das Plugin ist, und werd es mir jetzt zulegen. :-) Falls ihr es noch weiter entwickeln wollt, fände De-Mouth, und De-Click für Schmatzgeräusche usw. mega. Dann hätte man wirklich alles in einem.

I get a huge lag in Reaper. Only plugin (of many) that does this.

Works great. I usually have two tracks for a single lead vocal (in case of overlapping phrases so that my time-based processing doesn’t get stuck). Because of this, I’d typically open Melodyne or another ARA plugin on both tracks. This plugin works (sort of) with this workflow. However, it seems to not retain settings between both plugins. For instance, if I select a preset or change the target loudness on one window, it doesn’t get mirrored to the other plugin. It’s actually quite confusing. If you could address this issue, that would be fantastic!

I'm about to get this tool... it seems to be a huge time-saver for sure. But even before I put my hands on it, according to this video, I already see some improvement suggestions. 1) Alongside LUFS integrated, it would be really amazing to include an option to have also dBFS Peak target levels. 2) It would be great to have the possibility to edit all the leveling points individually at 0.1dB resolution. 3) Would be really helpful to Include an underlayered curve or waveform of the expected output level after processing, before printing the processing actually, so we can visually check the whole gain structure consistency. 4) It would be also helpful to include an Spectral view to check the freq content, not only as a pure waveform level, in order to properly validate the leveling suggestions automatically made by the plugin. A waveform visual alone doesn't give any info about the freq content of the source audio, even if LUFS Integrated could approximate that. 5) Considering the ARA2 potential capabiliies, it would be great to include a level match function mirroring other tracks from the same session. This would be a really huge time-saver function when mix prep several DI guitar tracks or matching several background vocals for instance. 6) The price is a bit step according to the average cost of plugins nowadays. 7) With due respect, I would suggest to use a pro voiceover in your videos, less talking,and walkthrough more real life examples and more diverse sound sources. 8) Great tool. Keep up the good work guys!
Very cool. I'm already using DynAssist in some projects. And I have a feature request: for non ARA use (Logic on Silicon Mac) ... can you please make the plugin record tracks while freezing/unfreezing the tracks (like it works in non ARA Melodyne)? This way you wouldn't have to record in realtime (= huge time saver). Thanks and keep up the great work!

When I was using GainAim that I had purchased from this company, it crashed my DAW so I had to delete it from the system. I tried to draw attention to this by e-mail but no response so beware of this new production.

I haven't tried it yet, but if it does what it promises, I think the price is fair. However, for that price, I expect it to work PERFECTLY and not have to go back in afterward and adjust things. If it does it right the first time consistently, then I think the price is fair. Just my opinion!

If you’re like me and can’t afford to pay an assistant to edit my vocals and save time, the price is more than reasonable.
@@MixedbyToryG I feel you on that. But it's not that hard to clean up your own recordings. Once you learn your daw and do it enough it's second nature. Im not saying this plugin wouldn't be a time saver or whatever else. I'm just saying. The price of plugins are a but much. It's only my opinion though

CLA hits -20db on his blue 76 , you call that little compression? Also Jaycen uses cla vocals comp section as a itb replacement for his otb parallel chain. He uses it after compressing with MV2 and RVox/RComp

Ya, I'm a professional engineer. I edit my vocals first, but I still need PLETNY of compression to get them to sit in the mix correctly most of the time. Not all the time, but most of the time. So, I get what he's going for, but I think it's a bit "misleading" to say, for one, "pros" don't use heavy compression and, for two, teach people that using less compression is the only way to do it like the pros do. It's just not true.
@@matt_nyc_audioengineer exactly, it all depends on the material we're given. But the guy on the video name dropped the people that uses compression like crazy and then giving a false information that they do light compression is totally misleading

Studio one pro 7. If I open gainaim on a track with the event.Fx I hade problems with the speed. for example the drums are slow. any one can help please

Hello! I'm using a portable version of Reaper 7 and GainAimPro reads the media items whether I use it in track FX mode or in take FX mode, I switch between items and the waveform graph changes accordingly, but I can't hear the audio. I disable the plugin and hear the audio normally. Will it be an incompatibility with the portable version of Reaper 7? If anyone knows, please give me a clue. Thank you!

Hey, LUFS is the integrated loudness of your audio file, which also takes the frequency spectrum and file length into account. So, you can't directly translate a LUFS value to a dBFS value. However, when working with the same voice over a longer period of time, I recommend finding the settings to align with your -18 dBFS target. I hope I could answer your question :)
