Well Water Off Grid / #tiny house / Solar Powered
We finally have WATER!!!! We are powering a 1 horsepower well pump that is 405' deep! Solar and Batteries is all we have! Having water is a huge step in the process to keep things moving forward. The next step now is to hook it up to the house and test all the indoor plumbing. This process is not easy, but we are enjoying it!
Please give us your feedback, opinions, and 2 cents! What do you think?

Building & Attaching Shed to House / Tiny House Living / Start To Finish
มุมมอง 2.4K2 ปีที่แล้ว
We Needed to build a shed to put our water storage tank in and also some other plumbing things for the well guy. We attached the shed to the house with 8 screws total so if we ever needed to move the house the shed can be separated. We learned alot from April Wilkerson's videos before doing our shed. Here is a link to one of her videos; th-cam.com/video/6Mar52-tEAs/w-d-xo.html Help us out and s...

Nice video simple and sweet!!
Thanks for uploading this i was wondering how to save it for the next day 👍
I know this may seem simple to everyone but me, but thank you for showing how to put it on a five gallon bucket. I’ve seen others hold it up and that would hurt my back. I’ll sacrifice a five gallon bucket for this! Thanks!
Hi. Do you need to apply anything after the stain? Thank you!
Maybe for folks doing this, recommend putting a few fires outside in it before bringing it inside. Was this high temperature spray paint?
Double check manual mine States to not screw oil plug in to measure. Screwing it in would lead to low oil level
the tick BIT MY BALLS FOR 2DAYS NO CAP IT HURTS!
You saved me time ❤
What part of VA are you in?
thanks amanda seyfried
Thank you for a very realistic down to earth presentation on how to realistically change the oil in your on my generator! Grateful best of luck
I identified 37 tick bites today when i was out in the woods. Who knows how many i really got
I did not like what I saw. You made that old door look older.
5 gal bucket is a good 👍 idea.
Looks simple enough
good luck getting that window open lol
Which do you feel like helped the most? The lower boards or the upper ones. I have a very similar shed and I’m thinking about just running the upper ties across every rafter
You are gonna bow everyone of those window frames. Get the window and door foam.
Changed the oil after a few hours when I first got my Hyundai p2500i, gotta do it again.
This idea never occurred to me, it might work in the future. Maybe my experience was different but about a week ago I went to us a can of this stuff and the thing would not move down to open it up and spray it out. So i tinkered with the partial can I had and got some to start coming out by banging the top of that nozzle directly and it just slowly oozed out like a thin spaghetti and would not stop. On the new can I tried to bang its top and it started to work so I screwed on the straw and tried to get it working and it just came out very slow. They both kept on oozing for hours later but before that I took them both outside. The one I found spot that the foam might be useful and put the strew in that hole at my outside basement door area. Hours later i had to break the straw to get the basement one loose and it had a huge bubble there, filling that hole and beyond and the other was still oozing slow. I brought them inside since it was now raining and I thought they were empty. The next morning the one had a trail of foam attached to it and still oozing out slowly. So my only thought is on these is this: Use them shortly after you by the can not many years later, as well as consider that you might not use it all and it is just a loss to consider. The old foam stuff is just weird...
Use the blue can (door & window) foam for doors and windows. The red can has more expansion and can bow your frames of the windows or door. In some cases you may not even be able to open a window because the pressure is so great.
Hey y’all! How much do that end up costing ? Looks great btw!
This HELPTED ME bunches , found me one of these here bad boys for a low low price . Will DEFF do my maintenance
How do you connect the hose not working for me😢
you don't want to use that type on windows, you risk it deforming the vinyl. They make foam specifically for windows to avoid this.
Thank you for making the video. I was wondering how I was going to be able to reuse it.
It won't work if you let it set for a long time idc what you think you know even if you turn it upside down and clear the spray it's happened to me three times
your suppose to use it with the can upside down lol
Thanks for the video man
WD 40 cleans the tube, hands etc 😊
It doesn’t
man.....I just made a video on this. I had not seen anyone doing this. After clearing the line with air, and then reattaching...I found I never needed to cut the straw!! Nice!
He'll yeah man. Best way to dispose of em, burn em up
Don’t see a difference. How in the world does a cross beam keep the the roof LIFTED after the post is taken out????
Thanks for sharing, I would at least add 3 collar ties on the rafters.
Hope all is well! Haven't seen ya'll in awhile. 🤗❤️🤍💙
Thank you Ginger! All is well us, I hope all is well with you! We just took a break from everything for a bit as we are expecting a little one 🥰 ♥️🤍💙

Fantastic! Looks so much better. And less mudd. The dog is going to love it.😁❤🤍💙
Haha yes! 🙌🏻 it’s much better and Jamie jumps out of the car much easier now 🤣 part of the gravel is already starting to sink into the ground, so I believe we need another load 😳 We will get that in just a few weeks! ❤️🤍💙
So satisfying had to watch it twice.👍❤🤍💙
😄 haha it was very satisfying!! ❤️🤍💙
Cold and mud🤔🐕 Figured that's a chance at having to take a bath. Doesn't like that much either. 🤣
😂😂 SOO true!! I think she’s starting to figure out what the causes are for a bath 😂
🤣 Keep warm guys. Try to enjoy it! Just rain today here. But I'm sure snow will be back.❤🤍💙
Haha we’re trying!! I’m sure the snow will be back your way too! Lol ❤️🤍💙
Water will be a good thing. You did a great job. The weather here has been cold and we had snow. Been having to bring in my hummingbird feeders. They get cranky if the waters frozen. 🤣❤🤍💙
Thanks Ginger! It’s coming along! 😂 we don’t want cranky hummingbirds! Lol The weather has been nuts here! It went from 70s two days ago to sleeting today and a low of 16 tonight 🥶 We’re slowly making progress and getting things done! ❤️🤍💙
You two are doing a great job! You should be so proud of yourselves! Keep up the good work!❤️
Thank you so much!! ❤️ We are trying! We will get in here eventually! 😄
