I have played every main fallout game from 1. Fallout was always goofy.

I visited the Chernobyl exclusion zone a couple decades ago. Had to sneak past the armed guards and I can't stray too far off the known paths otherwise my geiger counter would go insane. Stayed for an entire night on top of an abandoned hotel... until it was blown up by a helicopter.

A nationwide subway system sounds neat, but there is no possible world where it could make sense. It would be ridiculously more expensive than an above-ground railway. Plus, we have a lot of evidence for normal railways in Fallout 4 and New Vegas.

Total clickbait. They're never going to do that. First of all, we already have that in Fallout 76. Second they'd be locking themselves into old tech and graphical assets for years to come and Bethesda's games already look and play horribly dated.

I don't think bigger maps would be boring, but they'd have to bring vehicles back into Fallout and they didn't sound like they wanted to do that. Between small locations, random encounters, vehicular combat and plenty of space for settlements, a big map would work just fine. Entries like Fallout 3 and New Vegas are hilariously small.
