Loving the calmness of your videos. I don't really have a ton of money to spend on pokemon and I'm always feeling so much FOMO, but your videos are calming, and makes me feel less like I'm missing out. I'd really want any of the vaporeon cards from this set, as that's my favorite eeveeloution.

im seeing alot of new scarlet violet base cards coming up. alot of new stamped. A bunch of battle academy and championship series from asia, europe and america with SVIen set symbol. it keeps on increasing. givin me a headache.

Really good to see someone with the same passion as me for illustration rares. Ive been saying since day one these are the best cards and I have every full art non textured english card from xy-now, including reverse Holo full art stadium cards, staff and championship promos. Xy jirachi promo etc, mythical promos, trainer galleries, Pokemon centre versions etc., been branching out a bit with the Chinese 5th anniversary Pikachu promo and some Japanese ones as I'm trying to make a complete binder of these cards. I love how they are cheap and awesome looking cards and it seems everyone caught on after me, which I love besides the fact they are getting more expensive with more people wanting them now. I'll have to say I think you ranked cufant a little low as it's my favourite card from shrouded fable and I have no connection to that Pokemon I just think the artwork is beautiful. I think you should a little less bias with the artists who drew them as in try to forget who drew what and just rank them purely on aesthetics. Overall really good video though I had fun just sitting back and analysing the cards with you as I have done by myself many times over the years. Subscribed and looking forward to more content. 👍💯

Okay I was very confused for a minute because I was like where's magikarp? Where's all the 151? Where's raichu? And then it hit me that you're only ranking THIS YEAR'S cards lol! Really puts into perspective just how many illustration rares there are and how good we have it compared to previous generations of cards

I was wondering if when you organize cards and put them into binders for the master sets, you could put them at regular speed, but maybe as an extra/separate video? That’s always my favorite part of the video I love organizing! No pressure tho!

Illustration rares are 100% one of the biggest contributing factors to why I started collecting this year. I have very little interest in sets prior to Scarlet and Violet because of my love for these full-card artworks!

I love illustration rares. My favourites are Ghastly, Houndoom, Persian, Bulbasaur, Sunflora, Ledian. But my collection goal is to have all of these and the SIRs.

With japanese you have to send them off for grading almost immediately. They overprint the heck out of japanese sets, so you will only see value really early on.

I've had a pretty good experience on TCGPlayer. The only times I have contacted the seller was when the card I received was different from what I ordered, and it doesn't happen often. Most of the time they say sorry and give a full refund, no questions asked. But I did have one seller that was not helpful. I ordered a Japanese Goodra from Fusion Arts, I received a Korean Goodra from the equivalent set so it had the same artwork, but obviously a different language. And I could tell right away it wasn't Japanese, 1 because of the card back, and 2 because I can differentiate then two languages. I contacted the seller and didn't hear anything back for a week. That's when TCGPlayer themselves stepped in and asked if I still needed help, and I said "yes." Shortly after that I got a refund from the seller with no other comments from them. Most of the LGS around me don't carry Pokemon singles or bulk, so I have to buy online which is really unfortunate. I like going to stores and supporting local businesses.

Great video! Love seeing the variety that IRs have given pokemon cards this year. Truly think its a big factor of why so many new people came back into the hobby of collecting!

Could this be cheaper for completing a master set than buying and opening packs altogether? Or is a mix of both packs and singles still the best method?

Completely agree about Squirtle and Bulbasaur. In fact, I would even put them at #1 and #2, respectively, with Eevee being #3. Pulled Bulba and Eevee, now really hoping to pull Squirtle as well.
