Thank you so much for this podcast, Listening practical approach to care for your loved ones and first yourself from a phychiatrist is satisfying. Medicines has their role to play but taking control of your life through these practical steps leads to the feeling of self control and let go the feeling of helplessness. We need more such doctors who talk about balance of physical and spiritual aspects of our life to become the best of version of us and healthy.

Enjoyed this Commendable session in terms of Delivery, Content, and reaching out to all, in an inclusive manner. DR. Murthy reads thoroughly, reflects, and then only shares with us. Also Minute to Minute Transcription makes this more accessible. I could see myself at 12-17 to 12.26😊. Thanks to all the Speakers and Participants; Resilience is the Key to Happy Present, the only thing that we really witness.

Thanks for this interview. It gave a lot of insights into care giving. Dr. Srinivas Murthy explained the caring techniques so well with relevant examples. Two of the important points I found very interesting and useful from his talk are : (1) empowering care givers rather than helping them and (2) Instead of reducing stress we need to increase our resilience.

Thank ypu for this wonderful conversation. Dr. Murthy's approach and outlook is so inspiring. Being a professional in the area of deaf education I totally relate and agree to his suggestions and practice most of them. I am a mother to a 37 year old daughter who was diagnosed with mental health issues at the age of 15. Though coping well presently, i feel both my daughter and i need some urgent counseling related to certain aspects of her and my life.( Especially her desperately wanting to marry)I will really appreciate if i can be put in touch with a counsellor who works pro bono or on nominal charges. I had to leave my job and be with her full time. Thank you FAVMI.

My friend has two kids both are special children. Her most challenging life problem is how to keep them engaged as unlike other normal kids, they are not controllable. There are schools for such kids. Such schools are great help when there are not holidays. But when holidays starts, it is difficult time to manage. My friend feels it will be good to have a place where such kids can be engaged during holidays. Also it will be good if their is some forum, both online as well as gatherings where kids and parents can meet and discuss and share a how each of them are managing. It would be still great if experts are part of such gathering who can give them tips on how to manage bringing up such kids along with balancing other aspects of their life.
