Shark Navigator brush roll and belt replacement
มุมมอง 2183 หลายเดือนก่อน
Shark and internet forums suggest a complete motor and brush roll assembly would be required to replace the brush. This is a notorious problem on this model and appears to be an assembly upon getting to it. It probably isn't cost effective to pay a repairman to do this but if you like DIY and are stuck with a similar vacuum, it can be done. A deep skinny security T20 Torx bit/driver and a flat ...

Spring Planting SE South Dakota
มุมมอง 214ปีที่แล้ว
I shot some video while helping dad with planting this spring. It's sort of a "day in the life of a farmer." Some would find this kind of farming archaic but I find it healing. The Case 8930 and Kinze planter performed well the first half of the week and we fought some seed size issues later in the week when we switched to beans so I didn't get a lot of video shot then. Dad is getting closer to...

NTB 550 Wheel Balancer Calibrate and Review

I go over calibration of the balancer along with what I think of this economy machine after 6 months of use. This isn't a commercial machine but I have been very pleased with it. As stated in the video, one great aspect of this machine is the bigger balancing cones that come standard with it.
64 Galaxie Small Misfire to Large Solution
มุมมอง 3302 ปีที่แล้ว
Today we sort out a misfire on the Galaxie. I hesitate to keep sticking much money in this engine since I haven't really even done any baseline testing on it's condition. I also have aspirations of making this car fuel injected, and I don't know if that would be based on a 289. This 4 door would also be fun as a high rev screamer that people aren't suspecting, but I don't think that is probably...

I want to replace the tank as it has a nasty layer of gunk on the bottom and I suspect I'll eat through the bottom if I start cleaning it. The fuel gauge has never moved, so this will be a good time to look into that. Then I learn that what is advertised as a 60-64 tank turns out to be a 63 tank, and needs to be modified to fit a 64 car. Follow along to see what I did along the way of fuel tank...

      @ssmonte8738 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I believe the long end just sits in there. When the handle and the body are laying flat during the repair there really won't be any tension on the spring. It only develops tension when the handle moves perpendicular to the body.

    My dryer must've been pretty old, the tensioner was just a smooth piece of plastic -- no roller of any sort. Got you beat on the loot though, $2.53 and a foam earplug. Thanks for the video, wasn't sure how to get the rollers off. My felt strip was the big problem, wore out to the point there was metal-on-metal and the drum didn't want to spin even with an intact belt.

    I randomly selected a dryer repair kit online in hopes that I could fix (zero experience) my Kenmore dryer that sounded like it had boots in it. The bottom drum roller had so much hair wrapped around the axle that it could barely spin. The drum wore a flat spot in that roller, but it would spin about every three seconds, and the drum would thud on the flat spot. This video came in handy as I forgot how to route the belt around the tensioner. Thank you for sharing it.
