Test of my recently acquired Electone HX-1 organ in great shape and fully working. It was the flagship Electone of the 80s end , configurable in different options (HX-1, 3 and 5) built around multiple FM and AWM tone generators. Last demo tune is shown using first the internal voice combi, then a CVS-10 organ drawbar expander. Sorry for the audio quality and key noise, I've recorded to close to...

2013 Ketron Audya 4 Expander&Arranger sound test with audio styles.
มุมมอง 7209 หลายเดือนก่อน
Today a test of Ketron Audya 4 sound expander and music arranger. This is an acclaimed piece of kit, the first musical arranger with full audio styles, not just the drum part, but bass and guitars as well (live drums , live guitar, real bass) - so called "real arranger". This is the "king" of music arrangers. No sounds from the Yamaha STAGEA organ, just used as a midi controller.

Sound generator is mixed PCM sampling and Analog. Siir I have the same keyboard but i have a problem there is a key doesn't work is it possible to repair it ?
Its possible although you have to find the spare replacement. If your key doesn't sound try first to clean inside the keyboard. If the problem persist it should me something about the rubber caps (they are usually sold as one-octave pieces) or the keyboard scanner.
you really love vangelis
I want to yamaha pss 51 keyboard 🎹 buy
Yes, definitely the best, full of option, full programable, every controll by hand on the fly! Best for ever, all of time. I had only one, and musta find the other to buy for reserve...

Вітання.Гарне виконання.Мені теж подобаються органи.Хочу придбати Technics Sound sx 50.Хочу вас запитати.Чи буде він працювати з Solton x40 і скільки каналів міді мож підключити одночасно.Дякую.
Perhaps you mean SX-EX50? I have an SX-G6 (EX70) that is the upscaled version of the 50. So, if the EX50 has similar MIDI settings, you have to set on the organ MIDI ch. 1 for the Upper Manual and Ch. 2 for the Lower Manual. (read user manual about how to do it). Then tun on or off the MIDI features as you like (program change-control change)-I usually set to off any of these options, so when I change a sound on the organ, it osi not changed also on the expander. On the Solton (MS40 orX4?) you have to go into MIDI input channels and set Right on ch.1 - Left on ch.2 . In this way you'll have the right hand sounds of the Solton, on the Organ Upper manual (mixed with the organ sounds, that you can turn off as you like with the volume control) and the Solton rhythms and accompaniment on the whole lower manual. Hope this helps.
Spunemi pe unde sa introduc ritmul direct pe orga sa mearga si tempo.multumesc
Sorry, I don' t understand your question
I like old keyboards, they are amazing. Anyway, if you are lucky to find a Yamaha PSR-27 or a Yamaha PSR-7, can you also make a video with them involved?
I doubt I'm willing to find these, I'm more up to high end models. Such PSR were really basic for the time. Anyway 7 and 27 if I correctly remember were part of same era of the 4500. As for the voices should sounds in same way (DASS synth.) probably the accompaniment style is not really on same league.
@@musk771 I get it, but i like both entry level keyboards & High end models.
@@timothyverbist5795 So I will pay more attention for you, if one will come out for reasonable bucks!
@@musk771 I get it.
Hey! I saw your comment on another video about wanting a Wurlitzer WX20. I currently have one, I’m wondering about the value of something like this. I can’t find anything about it online.
I already got one. It is a rebranded Hohner PK-250. The value depends about conditions. These are very ancient keyboards, spare parts are not more available. Just collectors like I am, may want one. A fair value would be around 200-400 $
Thanks!!
Quite funky stuff, well-played ...reminds of some 70's/80's tv movie jingles or background music to some specific scenes 🙃
Thanks, in my opinion not so well played, just on the fly test in bad posture. The cool factor is that punchy Technics drums, so unique, especially toms and snares, The PSR-4600 brillant accompaniments complement it very well, truly 80s feel.
@@musk771 ...still have my old Technics SX-K700 here. I guess I have to switch it on again after a long time ☺

I used to have one similar to this but it was so big and part of it started to go out.I couldn't justify keeping it because of the space it kept but man there was some cool sounds on it. Nice demo
Unfortunately when something start going wrong, these are old, spare parts difficult to find or expensive to repair. Mine is now in pristine condition and sounds lovely. Hope it will last for years to come.
Cool! I used to play Electone 35 yes ago … miss it sooooo much! Thx for uploading this video😘
Thanks for watching! These are superb music-machines.
What about Roland G70 - imo still one of the best keyboards avilable that can beat up even genos if someone knows what to do
G70 and the whole G series , later the BK9 and 7 are still brillant instruments. G70 was very complete, I have no doubt it can comfortably stay near Genos, but unfortunatley I never had one. Probably I will get , actually I have a long list of desirable instruments.

I need yamaha PSS 790 keyboard How much cost
Sometime you can find it on ebay, for cheap.
I have
I have 2 Yamaha PSS-790's, I bought the first one in 2008 primarily because I needed a midi controller for my Roland groovebox and also because I wanted a Yamaha keyboard from the early 90s as I particularly wanted a keyboard with lofi instruments and drums. I also bought another Yamaha PSS-790 in 2022 because one of the buttons on the original PSS-790 no longer works so the original PSS-790 is kept as a spare. It sounds similar to many Yamaha PSR keyboards from the early to mid 90s.
These oldies keeping strong!
Good old times.
She sounds amazing!
hola: Tengo un organo elka E19 existe algun test de prueba?, me fallan algunas notas en frio, gracias.

do you still have this keyboard
Yes , still in my collection
@@musk771 does the sequencer works good? and the quantize? because on 510 the timing is not good on it
@@orionconstellation2 Yes, no problem at all with quantize. Anyway the 5700 and 510 are vastly different. The 5700 is older but top of the line with many editing features. 510 in younger but middle-class keyboard and much more simple in features.

I had the one before it, the PSS-780. Does this one have FM synthesis too ? Cheers
Unfortunately not, this one has sampled (AWM) voices
@@musk771 thanks for the reply. Cheers 👍
@@yamagrow420 The PSS-580 and 780 was last flagship Portasound with FM voices. From 1990 PSS-590 and 790 introduced AWM for both voices and rhythm. FM anyway still were employed for more basic models.

I had one of these when I was a kid! I Loved it!! 🥰
Hi, I am enjoying your videos. I have a Casio guitar synth and use that to drive a roland ra90, which is playing up and sounds dated. I wish to upgrade but I am bewildered by choice. What is the difference between a Ketron sd40 and a Ketron lounge for instance?. Then there is the module you are playing- and a Ketron x4, Korg i5 and i40 and Roland BK7m- that is to name a few. I only play at home now and a second hand unit would do fine. Any advice gladly welcomed...regards Steve
Hi Steve, you can choose any of these, depends about your needs. They are quite easy to set up. I would suggest a Roland BK-7m that I also have and it is really great. maybe Ketron has some better sound but Roland is really easy to hook up to anything, there is a connection wizard that makes you trouble-free during the midi connection. Voices are very good and styles sounds great. The Korg modules are old nowadays, even if much better in terms of sounds that your ra-90. If you prefer Ketron sounds, also an old X4 is a great choice, you can find it for cheap money. Audya is big and heavy, if you don't need the audio styles (that sounds great but have some quirks too) you may choose the sd40 , sounds good, but it has some software bugs that has not been fixed yet. With a BK-7m you won't regret, however they are growing up in prices and not difficult to find units that cost more now than they were new. You can also wait for the new Ketron EVM presented at the last NAMM. Practically a little module controlled by a touchscreen. You can place the screen on your music rest and keep the module a bit distant, it has the same specs as the Event X. But expensive. About differences between SD40 and Lounge I believe the first one is a pure real time arranger and sound module, second one is a midifile/audio player probably with capability of assembling phrases,Isn't what you looking for.

This sort of up-funked styles always invite one to nodd, at least Great one!
