I once made about 60 stars out of cardboard and tin foil and a crescent moon and tied them to cotton and hung them to my bedroom ceiling along with fairy lights and covored the betroom wall in roses and valentine's cards , photos, everything, to show my wife how much i loved her . I wated until nightfall turned on the fairy lights on the ceiling went down stairs took hold of her hand and led her upstairs, covered her eyes and led her into the bedroom, i told her to open her eyes and i said to her "i wanted to give you the stars" she looked at me with so much love on her eyes. A memory i will never forget 😔🌹i love you forever my darling Kirsty,in this life and the next. I wish she could see this comment and feel something in her heart at this memory 😥💔🌹i was listening to this song at the time 😭. I'd give anything just to hold her again 🫂😥💔🌹

I love this song, but I think since it was written for the film and for the iconic scene, the song is slightly misconstrued. His character, especially in this scene, is trying to manipulate and tempt the lead character. This song is sweet nothings. They're sweet surely... but it doesn't mean anything. A lot of the lyrics are really subtle, and again I love the song, but I honestly love it more for the fact that there's a lot more going on under the surface with this track. So good.
