    Thanks for explaining the protocol Jason. I will definitely try it, when I visit next June. Do you pay in cash or is there a card reader, on the table. Peter from UK

      You’re very welcome! There is a pay station near the exit. You will scan your slip that has your table number on it and they will charge you for what you ate and drank. I don’t remember seeing a card reader but I paid with cash. I should have included that in the video! Next time I am at a place like this I will make sure to walk through how to pay as well :) Thanks for watching and hope to hear back from you after you try it!

    Right after I saw your Epcot video I saw your Halloween video!!! This is so cute! As are you! You really look great! ❤. I wouldn't expect the food here to be "gourmet" more about the "appearance" because of Halloween making it cute. If it tastes good, it's an added bonus. I'd say the creativity of the food is really A-1. I COULDN'T DO IT EVEN THOUGH I HAVE A B.A. IN FINE ARTS. Yes... probably a wasted college education? I was a military brat and my teacher thought it best that I miss my math and geography classes to take speech therapy, hence my lack of knowledge in the most important things in a person's life!!!! MONEY, NUMBER ONE AND THE BEST PLACE TO LIVE ACCORDING TO MY INCOME, MONEY AND GEOGRAPHY!!! Thank you very little, Ms. Chiba for steering my parents and me in the wrong direction. Math is so important. Who cares if a person speaks like a German who really is an American. Ms. Chiba was more interested in finding Mr. American military husband than she was in directing her students down the path of a great future. I suppose I could have been a voice over if I was in broadcasting or communication. Lord knows I have great speaking skills these days(constantly correcting Grammar with TH-camRS and written skills due to my ex, who harped on me because he's a self proclaimed narcissist and it explained a lot) thanks to my speech therapy, but now I have no idea of money investments or fractions or any of that or where the state or capitals are because of Ms. Ciba's great idea of taking me out of math and geography classes to speak correctly. Oh well, I have no one to blame, but myself. I have no class photos for certain grades because we moved so many times and each school was either ahead or behind. One class, 3rd grade? I had to take the city bus from 12th street or there bouts downtown Chicago to the school bus to get to class and then change classes all day to go where I needed to go for my education. My mother went with me for two days then I was on my own. I stared at a frizzy haired Asian woman who had crossed eyes, then I knew I was on the correct city bus. Terrible I know. There were 12,000 students in that city school. It was a combined 0-8 grade classes. Everyone knew each other except me. I knew no one. I was okay for the first few classes and at 3 PM I made it home. After 3 months or 6 months, we moved again. This time to the tropucs where I was in Ms Chiba's class and missed math and geography classes. No one helped me with taking notes and often my homework was stolen by a classmate. It's a wonder I was accepted into a noted university. The nicest students were the outcasts. Anyway... I see the wonderful artistic creativity of the unique foods at this expensive event and I'm impressed. Even if it was machine created and not hand made. Someone had to come up with the designs for the machines... which required math, I'm sure 😢. In high school I did well in home economics. I was assigned with two other girls to create an "elaborate" dinner. I was the only one who knew my way around the kitchen well. Since I had no friends due to the fact that we moved constantly and we were on a tight budget, money was always scarce, I stayed with mom watching her cook and clean. One girl in our group never stayed home. I don't know what she did, but it wasn't homework, cooking or cleaning. I assigned a vegetable peeler and asked her to peel potatoes. I thought that was simple enough. She was clueless! I showed her how to peel potatoes. Did not make her feel foolish. We all have to start somewhere. She was so appreciative. And she was very nice to me. No one spent any time with her. No one taught her anything. Well, anything that was important to her life skills besides making babies. Everyone was afraid of her. She was a tough girl. We all received 100% for our hard work in that class. She came up to me and said how thankful she was. She never received an A ever in school except in that class. I told her she worked hard for that grade. Had she not been there to help we would not have gotten the 100% and we wouldn't have. It was a joint effort with the three of us working together that got us the grade that we received. She was an important part of our group and she really was. She cried. That grade helped her graduate. And I think it gave her a sense of pride. Jason, I know you cook. ❤. Some day... I want YOUR curry recipe!!! ❤. As wonderful as this visit was, I still think the visuals were the number one and the taste was number two. An added bonus. The creativity in the foods appearance took the cake!!! I am curious about the blossom drink you had in the beginning. That sounded really appealing. And I really liked it when you said about the plank, " I really like the blood." That was so funny!! 😂😂😂❤❤❤! Keep your incredible humor coming! Love it!!❤❤!!

    • @TheWorldAccordingtoJason
      @TheWorldAccordingtoJason 28 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I totally agree with you on the visual presentation of food! We eat with our eyes first! That must have been tough constantly moving during childhood! I was lucky that my parents didn’t move us around too much so I was able to keep my friends throughout my childhood! I’m not that great of a cook sadly, so my curry “recipe” is usually just making the curry that you buy in bars at Mistuwa. You just boil water and stir in these bars (they look like chocolate 😂) until it’s all incorporated. Then just simmer and you’re done!

    Hi Jason!! My, you are looking FINE!! Have you lost half your weight???? You look so nice!!!! I lost Internet, so I haven't been online for several months. I did look to see if you had any new videos and nothing appeared, however just a little while ago a notice appeared! Funny that you love pickles... I do as well! My sister DOES NOT! My most favorite is MOUNT OLIVE PETITE SNACK CRUNCHERS KOSHER DILLS. I've purchased packs of pickles that can be frozen like popsicles. I think they were taken by movers. I've never had fried pickles, however I think I've seen them at fairs. And funnel cakes!!! Oh, to die for! Are they also called "elephant ears" at fairs/carnivals? I attended the poor man's Epcot. Fairs and carnivals. 😂. Same foods, just not gussied up. 😂❤. Whipped cream in a can and powdered chocolate and sugar and cinnamon in shaker containers was as fancy as things came. Hotdogs... no choices as to all beef or mixed meat. Sides were onions, pickles, ketchup and mustard. No toasted or steamed buns. The buns came out of a plastic bag with usually a blue and white print on it that sometimes transferred on to other plastic items, like cups. 😂😂😂❤. What a difference. 😅😂😅❤. I also remember CANDIED APPLES. Not carmel apples, but CANDIED APPLES! The red hard covering on green sour apples. I wonder if red dye number 4 or 40 changed all of that? They were my highlight. I hated the sour apple and wished it was a Golden Delicious in the middle, but I think those apples didn't last as long as the sour Granny Smiths? Also, I've been told to have sliced bread when consuming super hot/spicy foods not iced water. The oils from the peppers stick to your mouth and the bread wipes the oil from your mouth. It may be a good idea to have both bread and water or icecream or lactose free icecream? Just in case. Any plans to back to Japan in the near future? Get more of the delicious pork curry? ❤. It sure is good to see you again!!! ❤❤. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving. You really look great! ❤. Missed you! Big hugs, dear one!!!! ❤

      Bella! So nice to see you again!! I was wondering where you went! Haha no I haven’t lost half of my weight but I did lose a nice chunk! Still have some to go but happy with the progress I’ve made so far! Glad you found the HHN video! I also did a video at Disney for their Halloween event as well :) You definitely should try fried pickles if you have the chance. I prefer fried pickle spears over the pickle slices. I believe elephant ears are something different. I think they are just a fried bread with butter. I don’t think they are usually sweet but I could be wrong. I’m hoping to get back to Japan at some point next year! Fingers crossed I can make it happen! I do still have some more videos I filmed from my last trip over there that I need to edit :)

    I personally would try the sushi before adding soy. Maybe it doesn’t matter here but in more high end sushi establishments the sushi artist has carefully crafted things and has specific flavours in mind. Just because it’s subtle doesn’t mean it’s bad. I’ve noticed Americans love to bombard everything with more and more things. I love a good punchy flavour but I also appreciate when the ingredients are allowed to sing. Also shark is not a crazy ingredient. You get sold it all the time but they just don’t call it shark. I personally refuse to eat shark because so many are endangered and they are needed to keep the environment stable.

    • @TheWorldAccordingtoJason
      @TheWorldAccordingtoJason 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Totally valid points! This definitely is not a high end establishment but was still very tasty and good value for the money! Thanks for the comment!

  • @Angelicwings1
    @Angelicwings1 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

    You insult the sushi artist if you dip the rice in the soy sauce! You’re meant to just dip the top. This is really important when eating sushi and I’m surprised you didn’t know.

    Yeah, that's a lot of hype for a mediocre pizza. The cheese is great, but the crust is terrible. And eating such a heavy pizza in such a hot place is guaranteed to make you throw up. Orlando has better pizza than this if you know where to look. However, those mozz triangles look excellent.
