    I did the same thing and I got the clearance problem pad to top layer and region. I prefer not to waive the DRC and solve it fundamentally. I had the same problem in Cadance PCB editor. PAD and top layer copper should not collide. The whole shape should be a pad in Cadence and I think here needs the same treatment.

    I was worried far too much solder was used. I see you got the visible bridges but what about the possibility that bridging can happen under the IC far enough that its not visible?

    Oh my God I'm going to come back to this one the list of what you did right and said versus the list of what you did wrong and said oh my God Only thing really I can think you said right is that reflow heat gun goes into standby mode when you put it in it stained and that's because it's got a magnetic read switch in the handle and little neodymium magnets in the stand... And watch out the hot air gun can burn you Let's see what else I like that you pre warm you're bored not your pre warmer though I will come back to this in outline lake everything wrong but And I say this with respect but if you ever read a datasheet for any of these components and looked at the reflow slash solder temperature chart for the part or any SMD cuz they're all pretty close but My speech-to-text is my location right now is Cappy location so I'll come back to this but I do hope you take what I say in this and my next reply

    really too much time spent showing how to stuff a 4th wire through the servo case. Not really informative. You seem to struggle with the whole deal, as if it was the first time you have done this. Perhaps if you had spent the time (post fitting the blessed wire!) and shown us the full story, i.e. connect to a scope, measure the value and use it to retro-position the PWM back to the servo again. Really, 16:57 of my life I will never get back again.

    Hi John - Thanks for making and sharing this excellent presentation. I have a couple of questions I’m hoping you can answer. One, is it possible to make a version of this that could operate from a single battery (e.g., 9 volt battery)? Two, I’ve read that piezo devices can build up a high voltage when disconnected and that it may be wise to protect the input op amp using reverse-biased diodes. Do you view this as a concern for your design? - Thanks again - Jim

    • @_droid
      @_droid ปีที่แล้ว

      You don't want a benzo, you want a beta blocker. That's what snipers *actually* use. Benzos are like drinking alcohol which is no good. In any case, unless you're a robot, nobody's hand is "steady" under a microscope so this complaint is moot.

    • @gamersplaygroundliquidm3th526
      @gamersplaygroundliquidm3th526 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@_droid lol i been on benzos for 20= years trust me it will calm u down and keep your hands from shaking very very well if anything it may be too much relaxing causing delays in motor control called psychomotor impairment. Shakes only come during withdrawal so even being hammered on alcohol the hands should be way more relaxed state than non inebriated. back in the day they tried everything my uncle who was in the military 70s and 80s talked about them trying muscle relaxers at one point to see if that helped improve shot accuracy. he was in recon for almost 235 years before retiring i doubt he would make shit up because his military buddies were all there and all had stories of the same thing. maybe not in today's military they do such things but there was a time they would try anything to get an advantage. He said it was common in NAM to have new green recruits come into the country and get hooked on heroin and it was accepted they said that a soldier high on opiates is less likely to be afraid and it caused the men to do things they normally would of been to scared to attempt. The military didnt care about that im sure they didn't care about trying anything even if it was damaging to the soldier to win

    I wouldn't call ground and positive a signal,it's just applying power. Regards the feedback wire: if the feedback voltage is used to supply a too big load( not necessarily a micro controller), it could probably confuse the feedback to the servo chip. Pls let us know how you use the feedback on the white wire.thx.

    Excellent lecture but I am confused about the last part - - the method to measure and calculate common and differential modes (and rejection).

  • @realchristopher4334
    @realchristopher4334 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    What the hell! I finished all three videos on instrumentation amplifier and I learnt so much about how the heck 'common mode rejection' works, and that 'reference' resistor can be used to adjust offset and/or increase common mode rejection ratio! I think common mode rejection ratio is equivalent to offset. Which means offset causes common mode imbalance, which directly translates to less noise rejection. I wish to learn more about this subject matter as it is intriguing!
