I think it is craphical display issue it only slows down when hitting shift button when graffic caches. Append tool was faster then this shit and it used to work fine. F U Autodesk. User since 2009r.

New tip: delete the node which is between the mesh and the shader automatically gives by default on node editor. This increases drasticly the speed

I forget to say to desactivate temporarily the history by clicking on the icon with a small clock in the toolbar. You have to unfold the tab between "symmetry" and rendering configuration icons. FR: J'ai oublié de préciser de désactiver temporairement l'historique en cliquant sur l'icône comportant une petite horloge dans la toolbar. Il faut déplier l'onglet entre "symmetry" et les icônes de configuration des rendus
