We’ve been here for the last 2 days. I can report nothing at all is happening. No ones working on it and no one’s been in there. Of course it’s not a normal day at CP if something isn’t broken down. This is the worst large coaster park in the US.

a couple flaws i see with this, you are losing about 2 minutes of ride time and second that's a very tame ride, and finally that is. ALOT of a wood they would have to remove, still liked the video though.

Steel Vengeance is just not my favorite. It was pretty intense, which I like, but it was just too much intensity. I liked the ride until the brake run which is when it got INSANE. The airtime almost gave me a red out. If the ride was over at the brake run I would’ve liked it more.

I think they are trying to look at any issues so there wouldn’t be as many downtimes. They may also be doing inspections to make sure that no one could get seriously injured. The second point would make sense since the previous wheels had too much equipment surrounding it.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but the park has been inspecting the original track with UV lights, as well as marking spots on multiple supports. So it probably won't open until 2025.

Fantastic video! Loved the detailed information annd nostalgia! 🥰 Although I will add that many individuals with disabilities do better and enjoy more with their sensitivities on the front of rides many times. I understand the frustration that can cause but I bet 9/10 times it’s easier for them to choose the front and be regulated and enjoy the ride. I know it can be frustrating but for perspective that can make a memory of a lifetime for the person to enjoy the ride at their level of comfort. It may be inconvenient for a neurotypical or able bodied individual but I bet that memory of fun and feeling comfortable will last a lifetime for someone with a disability ❤️💕

Fury was not down for 2.5 months. I think it was June 30-August 10.

TT2 is a prototype with prototype trains made from a prototype folks. It’s unfortunate but it will open again. There’s no way CP would spend 30 million and not reopen this attraction.

The Fury situation was shocking to me not only because it was a B&M just the fact no one saw the crack

someone had video of workers shining UV light on the track at night. Ryan the ride mechanic said that they probably put a UV compound on it and were checking for microscopic cracks and that it was probably the NDT company doing it. I hope this is a normal NDT inspection and not a sign of structural failure. they are probably going to have to cycle it a whole lot before the state of Ohio signs off on it so I'm not getting my hopes up until we see a crap ton of test runs for like a week in a row

I'll be there August 16-17 so please open 🤣

When I was there the other day there were cranes by the top hat with people inspecting it alongside workers on the launch track.

I’m remaining optimistic that it’ll be open by mid August
