Wow...that's too bad about 2nd book in the the Sarah E. Ladd series! Taking the series off my _Wishlist,_ thanks for the heads up! 😬 My reading has been abysmal. I have managed to read 2 cozies this week, because cozies are my go-to when I'm feeling slumpish (not a word 😂), and they were both on my nerves. 🤷🏼‍♀ Calgon, take me away! 🫧

Yes I read that Sarah Ladd book last month and did not like it at all. Did not like the romance, plot was predictable and it reminded me a lot of another one of her novel, like the history was very similar. I don’t know how can one can be kissing while a son is kidnapped 😣
