I'm curious about a message I got from Vanguard Funds regarding their Index 500 fund and a revised investment policy: Under the revised policy, the Fund will continue to track its target index even if the Fund becomes nondiversified as a result of an index rebalance or market movement. Is this something investors should be concerned about? Is this because of the dominance of tech funds in the Index? I enjoy the show.

Two thoughts come to mind --- "Chicken Little", screaming that the stock/markets are falling/rising and living the rollercoaster emotional life, and also "Armchair Quarterback", the one who know better than those who spend their lives (professionals) doing research and study and practical experience in that area. I have been doing personal investing for 30 years and yet just recently have perhaps arrived at the half-way point of stock picking knowledge. I am fairly good a selecting a buy point, based on fundamentals and technical indicators, and yet have yet to master the sell point, due to the emotional attachment that I acquired while holding a purchased stock. We are always encouraged to be "loyal" in character, and yet loyalty can perhaps be a negative trait when it comes to investing. The loyalty trait has driven me to more of a buy & hold investor I suppose. If it was such a great buy at the time, what would make it a sell? So.........buy & hold results. Thank you guys for your chats on interesting topics! ~ Lowell

I feel that retirees may be better off with a goal of x% over current inflation as an objective. When fixed income and/or safety of principle is critical, attempting to keep up with a stock market return is not the correct goal.

Hey guys! Regarding oil prices, I was expecting you to mention the temporary lower prices due to the recent release of reserves (um, before the election?), which may be benefiting us at this time, albeit temporarily. The government can artificially manipulate prices this way, but it can not keep it up for too long without putting the nation at peril when true emergencies arise.

Regarding utilities as a play on AI, the massive power (electricity) required by AI performance, data center storage and management, EVs, gaming, etc., etc., will no doubt be both a driver as well as an obstacle for growth, as utilities are heavily government regulated, and so their ability to adjust quickly to a change in demand may be limited. I would propose an alternate play. All this electricity is creating a great amount of heat in all electronic devices (phone get hot?), the requirement for COOLING components and systems may be a valid way to catch the AI wave. There are a number of good private companies in this area, but the public leader in this currently may be Vertiv Holdings (VRT), a USA based (Columbus, OH). 80+% return YTD, and 300+% last 12-months. ~ A Mach1 client

I visited your TH-cam channel and I saw that your content is so good. But there are lots of workspaces. That means you need to update your video optimization. Like SEO-friendly video title selection, writing an attractive SEO related description, and researching high-rank targeted keywords according to your niche to rank your video. If you do these things right, your videos will get enough views, likes, comments and shares, and your videos will reach your target audience.
