Ya I thought I could buy after market but nope! Nothing out there. Went with Honda and the dealer gave me a great discount!. Gotta buy from the dealer because they ship the GIANT box it comes in via freight, not UPS.

50k buggy. I'd buy a crew cab s10 soild axle swap it, tires eletric lockers. Do a coil over fornt. Coil and leaf in the rear. And even if you bought brand new dana 44's i think all said and done your looking at maybe 20-25k unless you buy a super low mile super clean truck

These sort of products do have an unintended and somewhat ironic benefit. They allow you spot guys who are trying to compensate for small personal equipment, idiots, and soft footed pussies, who need a soft plush ride for their little hineys. Most people who work a full time job can “afford” one of these, they’re just smart and frugal enough not to.

I am also fairly dissapointed in my 700 4 that I bought a year ago. I share all the issues he went into, however, I would put the lack of TURF MODE up at the very top --that tears up my yard, embarrassingly, my neighbors yard. . . yes, the off brands are now much mor attractive to me because of much lower costs, and the better functionality and fit and finish.

I have a 700-4 and everything you are saying is Correct. I have a gripe and im not sure if its just my machine or what. Turning at slow speeds it acts like its in 4x4 and the rear tires kinda fight to turn like the front end of a pickup when you are in 4x4 when hard over. Seams like its fighting to turn?? Like the rear diff is always locked or something.?? I AGREE 100% It revs WAY WAY to high. up here in NH we can ride on the streets in some towns and this bike is LOUD and Revs way way to high at 35 40mph. There is PLENTY of bag for a 4th gear that would be like an Over drive gear. And then the machine would hit 50 55 no issue. I dont care about the speed as much as the RPM and LOUD rev...

I have a 2019 Pioneer 700-4 bought new. Live on a farm connected to family. We have several Kubota, Polaris and Can-Am SxS. I agree 100% with every point you made in both videos. I would also like more availability of after market options, like a good enclosure for the winter. All things considered, the Honda is by far my preferred SxS for fun and utility. (FYI…there is a cheap solution on Amazon to override the seat belt engine limiter) I like the versatility of the rear jump seats, the transmission, and comfort of the cab. The ride is great and plenty of power to climb hills and cross creeks.

I have a 2014 700-2 and it is still going strong, I use every day for farm work. No issues at all with any of the plastic body parts and I don’t baby it at all. The seat vinyl is junk and only lasted a couple of years before it crapped out, I got an awesome seat cover by Ruff Tuff. They look and fit great and you can storage options built into them on the front on the bench seat. It still squeaks like it did on day one, and I’m alway looking new ways to store and carry every day stuff that I need to have on board. It rains a lot here in Hawaii and the roof sheds the water right down on the dash and your legs so I made an eyebrow like the old trucks from the 50s used to have out of 1/4” ABS plastic, now the water sheds onto the hood. The only other way to solve that issue is to install a windshield but I didn’t want to do that for several reasons.

Are you comparing this to a unit with HVAC ? That is a strong consideration for older active individuals . So what is my alternative ? You rightly state a pick up truck is a great alternative - except on narrower trails and wether you have six passengers . You clearly have an issue with wealthy peoples toys - I take it you have an issue with Ferraris too. Those bobcats and kubota uv’s consume huge amounts to of fuel compared to the Polaris which sips fuel and goes fast - ever need to get from one end of the property to other end fast ? . If your properties require road travel to and from that excludes the slower vehicles . And there architecture is almost 20 years old . A tool cat vs a excavator and skid steer - you ain’t a farmer or rancher if you don’t have one of those already .

Everyone has an opinion. The people who are buying these expensive UTV's have a real good income source with high credit scores. Seems like everyone puts things on times and just pays there bills which is the right thing to-do its like a video game. Your rewarded for making those payments. All of that takes a stable income the more of it the better lifestyle you can appear to have. Some people are just rich and want to enjoy life. There are people out there that may watch a ton of offroad vehicles want to experience what they see on the TV. So they go to the local UTV dealership and sign there name they enjoy it but don't actually end up using it for what they saw on the TV. If your not around trails you need a trailer to haul it to that location. You know you can just rent one see if you like that model before buying one. Maybe you have a local dealership that is willing to allow you a 2 or 3 day try out period before buying. The truth is they are Toys that are very useful for what they are made to do. If you look at there design. They are built for what people are using them for. They mud, and go off roading, trail rides they are just made for that. I have a older Jeep that I picked up cheap it's going to cost me over 15k to get this thing trail ready that's If I do the work myself. I'm a farmer living on 1,000 acres of family land. The use cases for a side by side are obvious which is why I have ATV's. I've built custom hitches and 4x8 trailers for the ATV's to pull. There are some key benefits I could see going to a side by side vs an ATV one being an enclosed cab with heat for winter. 2 and 3 layers of clothing in the winter times just to stay warm that's after you got off the 6120m john deere tractor. If your riding an ATV when its 10 degrees out blowing snow and you have to check the cows in the south pastures you either drive the JD tractor or an ATV. If I had a side by side with a cab enclosure even if it didn't have a heater just stopping that brisk wind and chilling cold would be awesome. There are many things I do on this farm a side by side is not big enough for the job. I'd like to see a side by side with a round bale loaded on the back of the bed. The round bale weight more than the side by side. Wonder if a side by side would pull 3 of those on a trailer. I use another tractor handles with ease. That's lot more than 2500 lbs on wheels it wouldn't pull that hard my 4wd pickup don't even spin getting them to move in 2WD if its a little muddy use 4WD. You know some of those side by sides have diesel tractor horsepower if they had the right gearing. So the side by side would be great for smaller task. I have over a dozen reasons I can think of right now for a side by side and 1 reason not to buy the price of those side by sides fully loaded are more than I paid for a 2018 Z71 Chevy Silverado.
